Sandy Liquor Store — Local services in Sandy

My friends & I stopped at the liquor store on our way home. We had just had a great day with lots of friends, so we were in really happy moods & were being friendly & silly, nothing too boisterous though, basically just like we are daily.

The old guy behind the counter said some inappropriate things to my friend that was she was "acting worse than any drunk person he's ever seen" and that he was glad I was making the purchase, I laughed and said "I drank more than her today" because I had one beer earlier, and she had none. The guy took my card and ran it, but once my friend said "I'm sorry I have a bubbly personality and can be happy with my life" he then handed me my card, pressed cancel and said "bye bye"

The next day, my friend went to speak to the manager about the disrespect. Apparently because I said that I had a beer and because I mentioned my friend was driving our three kids (there were 2 other adults in the car as well), he told his manager that he was concerned for their safety, but the point was she was completely SOBER because she was driving our kids. And he had no issue with me having a beer, because he ran my card after I said that, it wasn't until my friend stuck up for herself after he was being rude to her that he didn't want us to make a purchase. I have been drunk and belligerent at places before and have never been treated so disrespectfully.

From now on, I will drive the 10 minutes in to Gresham for liquor for better service and better selection. Will never patronize Sandy...

Man this is the best liquor store I have ever been too. Every time I walk in, I fall down on my knees and start to cry tears of happiness. Soon my bar cabinets will be full of the things they have been missing. No more will I be embarrassed when company comes calling and I won't be able to offer them anything to drink. Proudly I will stand in straight form and ask my guests "Would you care for a cocktail?" Thank you...

Was in tonight only one cashier was competent enough to check me out taller guy brown hair I believe his name was Sam not sure. There was 3 other females there not one acknowledged me or my existence. The other female cashier was rude unless she knew you, not sure I will return. I waited 15 min to check out cause she was so wouldn't stop helping her friends. Seriously fix this problem, umIa...
