Noodle House: A Hidden Gem on the Way to Mt. Hood!
If you’re heading to Mt. Hood for snowboarding, skiing, or just an epic snowball fight, make sure you stop at Noodle House first—it’s the ultimate fuel for your mountain adventure!
The cozy vibe here is unbeatable. The warm lighting, friendly staff, and heavenly aroma of noodles make you want to kick off your snow boots and stay forever. It’s like walking into a friend’s house where they just happen to be professional chefs.
Now, let’s talk about the food. The Pho was everything I needed on a chilly day—rich, aromatic broth with perfectly cooked noodles. It felt like a bowl of sunshine in the middle of winter. Then there’s the shrimp donut. A shrimp donut? Yes, and it was as magical as it sounds. Crispy on the outside, tender shrimp on the inside—worth every calorie. It’s the donut you never knew you needed.
The egg rolls were delightfully crunchy and packed with flavor, and the Khao Soi? Pure perfection. Creamy, spicy, and so comforting, it was like a warm hug from the inside out. The garlic butter pan-fried noodles were the grand finale—garlicky, buttery goodness that I’m still dreaming about. And don’t forget the Thai tea! Sweet, creamy, and refreshing, it’s the perfect way to end the feast.
The best part? Noodle House is on the way to Mt. Hood! It’s practically destiny. Why eat a boring sandwich in your car when you could have this feast? Plus, you’ll need the energy to crush it on the slopes (or, let’s be real, recover from a snowball to the face).
Noodle House isn’t just a meal; it’s part of the adventure. Five stars, and I’ll definitely be back on my next Mt. Hood trip!
I’m not saying Noodle House is the best restaurant in town, but let’s just say I’d trade my Netflix password to eat here every day (and I...
Read moreThis is a new restaurant in Sandy and they were busy! I was greeted and asked how many in my group- she didn’t necessarily tell me a wait time but I could see they were busy and all the tables were full. We were seated in under 10 minutes. Both of our servers (who were the servers for the whole restaurant) were prompt and refilled our drinks and checked on us frequently. The food was really good. Our group ordered half of the appetizer menu and shared amongst each other. My favorite appetizer was the shrimp donuts- don’t be fooled by the name! The server took our main order and was quick to deliver the appetizers and then the main courses within a perfect amount of time. The food was absolutely delicious! If they stay this busy- they may need more room ;) I know I will...
Read moreI ordered the Pad Thai my son orders koi soy beef. No veggies to speak of! I ordered beef but there was mostly chicken in it??? Lots of noodles all stuck together, didn't really see any veggies. Not much beef, lots of chicken meat just a bunch of nasty noodles. Won't be back. I added a photo. The pile at the bottom is all noodles the pile on top is the meat. Which you can see is mostly chicken (i ordered beef) there are no veggies. It's a Wednesday night only 4 other customers so being busy is not an excuse!!!! Definitely not worth the price! I suggest going to the sandy food cart. The noodles place! Way better! I literally couldn't eat it! My son only ate partial of his dinner. We both said the meat tastes very weird! Hope i don't...
