Wonderful outdoor play structure constructed primarily of wood and adorned with fun murals surrounded by vegetation. Swings, slides, climbing obstacles, and variety in structure had our 2yr old thrilled. Its design makes for very few long falls, which is reassuring for parents of younger children. It is large and only partially fenced in, which is not reassuring for parents who have adventurous children, so not a great place to let them run off and supervise them from a sitting position.

Our primary goal during our past couple visits was to get our toddler out and about. So I cannot comment on the rest of the park, as our focus was the playgrounds. However, there appears to be a number of covered areas and some short paths that could make for a fun extended outing.

While the playground and path up to, including the covered areas were clean, further out we saw some questionable characters and cluttered garbage of liquor bottles, glass and the like. Nothing necessarily new of parks or that would prohibit our return, however, it was notable.

As far as the playground is concerned, I highly recommend bringing children both small and large, to romp through the rustic fortress...

I'm sitting in the parking lot with my friend having lunch. The park was clean no unwanted entities, nothing but the children playing in fantasy forest enjoying the sunshine. I love this park twenty plus years ago we helped build fantasy Forest my two sons and myself, my boys were too young to do anything other than soap the screws that they would use to put into the wood, apparently it makes it easier for it to go into the wood, so we scraped hundreds of screws across bars of soap LOL used to always walk around the park and point at screws saying this is the one that we did! good memories nice to see other children 20+ years later still...

Safe, fun, and extensive playground. Appropriate for babies and kids alike. We came here around 9:30 am on a Friday and there were only 2 or 3 families there. You can find boat and canoe play structures for the little ones, and bucket swings for their safety. The towers were well designed and enclosed to keep the little ones safe. We loved it here and brought a picnic and ate at the tables there. Take the tikes there! It's one of the safest, funnest playgrounds for the kids, and parents will like it, too, for its safety, bathrooms, and...

What a great hidden gem of a park! Who would of guessed this huge play structure near a babbling brook is right next to hwy 26 on the way to my hood. We got to use it during a quick overnight stay in Sandy and the kids loved it. Rare to see a good wooden play system anymore, usually all prefab plastic and metal stuff. Highly recommended for kids maybe for a break when getting up to my hood. Looks like during the summer there is also a festival at the park.

Excellent public park in adorable Sandy, Oregon. Dry picnic table areas. Winding paths with signs. Wooden playground full of rocking boats, zipline and corkscrew slides. Kid's dreamland! Small bubbly stream meanders through the whole park - a great spot to get toes and fingers wet. the Make it a stop on route to Mt. Hood (donuts nearby!)

Friends and I went to the park last evening to hear the great Band, Too Slim and The Taildraggers. The temperature was around 100 degrees, but we had a fantastic time. Thank-you for offering such great free entertainment, and many Thanks to all of the wonderful people that managed the water and ice towel station!
