Terrible customer service. Most of the food was very good and well priced, but we had a complaint about the General Teo. We said something hoping they would offer to replace, but it was recommended that next time we just try it without the sauce. I called later, cause my husband ended up getting sick. It wasn't good. We thought they were trying to make it right by replacing with something else, but when I got there we were accused of not saying anything, continuing to eat it and lying. She said we had eaten most everything. On the contrary, we took 4 to go cartons home. 23 years of working customer service and I have never felt more offended or wronged. I ended up walking out leaving our replacement still cooking in the kitchen. Happy Anniversary to us. I have never walked out before, I was so angry at how he treated us, the...
Read moreThe people I was with would likely give their food dishes five stars--to Golden Key's credit. Very nicely cooked and FRESH (veggies). The fried food (shrimp, etc) was not horribly breaded, not terribly greasy, nor overcooked. Me ? I chose the wrong dish again! The Mongolian dish had good flavor, not too SUPER salty... and the shrimp, chicken, and some kind of meat were cooked just fine. However, the dish was 90% onions. And the rice was stale tasting. Overall, it was just alright. I'll come back some time. But since I'm not into onions that much; my hubby, who is, was happy to get the to-go box! Took some people here again today. The service was excellent, the food was good--this time all I had was egg flour soup; however, no complaints from anyone else. Unfortunately, it was almost triple the price as last...
Read moreToday we decided to try this restaurant. We were so excited for good Chinese food. However our experience was so incredibly disappointing. The Orange Chicken came dry with the sauce on the side. The chicken was over cooked and so crispy you could barely chew it, even when mixed with the sauce. The fried pork rice was burned and tasted burnt as well. The crab wontons were so hard and chewy that we couldn't even eat them. The chicken Lo' Mein was ok. The egg rolls tasted off, like they would make you ill if you kept eating it. We spent over $80 and ended up throwing most of it away. So disappointing. I had hoped for really great food. I don't think we will ever...
