Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Sanford

My daughter loves this place and so do I but here recently when I’ve went there’s a new face she’s an assistant manager who is so rude never smiles, she doesn’t greet you,(well me) cause I’m sure she doesn’t forget me. I’ve had 2 encounters with her at the drive thru. I order some food and while ordering I had a friend on my car Bluetooth. We were asking for two items and the person said we don’t have it anymore the next item was ice tea with our meal someone replied on the speaker sorry we’re out of that too. My friend on my car radio said, “ Dag they out of everything they need to close.” This assistant manager comes on the speaker to say tell her we don’t need to close we have tea rudely! So I complete the order drive forward wait on food. I look she poured something from another bag into my bag. When she opened the window I ask, “ma’am what did you just pour in my bag. She replied with a very nasty attitude Ma’am it was fried and ranch” ok well why you taking food from another bag to give me. She said Ma’am you have a good night closed the window and walked away. Another employee saw me at the window came to see what was wrong so I asked for the manager she comes to the window with her nasty attitude as well. One word lead to the next I asked for their names and called American Dairy Queen left my complaint with the representative and no one has followed up like they said they would. We went again two days later and the crew that was working this time was very nice even handed a free sundae for my wait...

Another Complaint which is; Rating of; price is:0 bc I went yesterday &their price of; (4)chicken, Tenders basket went from; $8dollars to; $10.95&Rating of Chicken Tenders; Rating is:0 bc; Chicken Tenders tasted okay&The Ranch dressing tasted&Looked watery&I think whoever did the Ranch dressing watered it down bc maybe they were fixing to run out of the Ranch dressing so they watered it down for whatever reason they should have just said they were out instead of making the Ranch dressing taste&Look awful!!&So Ranch dressing Rating is:0 I Think Dairy queen Is the most expensive restaurant for Chicken Tenders Bc; Cook-out is; $7.59 Hardee's is; $6.59 But Dairy queen is way to high& Bc Dairy queen price is; $10.95dollars yes I did say,$10.95 Shame on Dairy Queen for ripping people off&when I suggested for Dairy Queen manager should have Lower price he got really really ugly with me about it Most of the time customers is right but the customers ALWAYS IS THE ONE'S THAT MAKE THE MANAGER& ASSOCIATE'S PAYCHECK& I THINK THE MANAGER SHOULD NOT NOT HV GOTTEN UGLY WITH ME NO MATTER IF HE WAS HVN A BAD DAY&NO MATTER WHAT HE THINKS!&THERE IS NO NO EXCUSE FOR HIS BEHAVIOR OF BEING RUDE& UGLY TO ME!!& SO THUMBS DOWN FOR THE MANAGER! 👎👎👎👎👎 &THUMBS DOWN FOR DAIRY QUEEN TO!&So again the RATING FOR DAIRY QUEEN IS: Price:terrible& Ripping people off:yes! I was a regular here for years, and often I'd get a fudge brownie blizzard and add malt powder on top. In Annapolis at a childhood ice cream parlor, that was my family's favorite treat and it's called a Dusty Road. I'd been doing that dozens of times here at this location until one time one of their brilliant teenager staff members unilaterally decided they couldn't do that any longer - it was against the rules. She had questioned me when I asked for the order, and I reassured her I wanted the powder on top, not mixed in. You'd have thought I was a drug dealer asking for a supply. They told me that it couldn't be done and couldn't explain why. That was 6 months ago, and that was the last time I've been there. I bring it up now because my 95 year old dad keeps asking if we can go to Dairy Queen. It's fond memories for us even if it's not the same ice cream parlor of old. But I tell him no, we can go to Cookout instead. There are plenty of other places to get what I want. It's just a sad, sad time when a company allows a part timer to decide their customers' journey. I should mention that the home office never acknowledged either my email or private message on facebook, so I guess they stand by their temporary part-timer who is probably long gone. Great...
