Very busy and popular place on the island. The staff was a very friendly, from the deli, grocery store, diner, ice cream shop. Got a sub from the deli and the grocery store, and it was pretty tasteless. Definitely ask for sauce if possible, or be prepared to add some condiments on it. The ice cream shop was very busy, with zero social distancing or masks. They had a lot flavors which was great, but be prepared for a long wait, even on a weekday evening. One unique thing were the birds, so definitely take a few minutes to enjoy them, they are beautiful. Plenty of free parking which is a great plus on this island. I wish I’ve had never been here. We went to the ice cream place ( it was very good). The first thing you see is a guacamaya (parrot) captive, then we noticed 4 more. What is the point of having these animals caged there? They look depressed and sad. This is borderline animal cruelty. I felt sorry about expending money in a place where they do not care about animals well-being. To the owners/ management if you consider this to be amusing to your customers please reconsider. They should be in their habitat or at least a place where they can be safe and taken care of.

Jerry's is the best and largest grocery store on Sanibel Island. Parking beneath. The seashell wreath photos are what I bought from an amazing art gallery located in this center owned by a husband and wife who were fantastic to speak with. Their gallery, SANYBEL'S FINEST, was outlandishly gorgeous. Primarily small to gigantic artworks featuring tropical/ beach Flora, fauna and scenes. One could buy anything from $5 to well over $5000 and leave absolutely delighted and satisfied with their purchase. With my purchase the owners GAVE my daughter hers and included the shipping for this very heavy shell wreath to New York FOR FREE. The wreath arrived yesterday (UPS, after a week), packed by the owners themselves!!! and survived a smashed corner UPS gave it, with NO DAMAGE. We...

My family and I parked at Jerry's Shopping Center then went for a quick bike ride. After biking, we had lunch inside Jerry's Restaurant. The service was great! Our server was Kelly - and she was fantastic! Kelly even brought us a carafe of water since we were so thirsty from our bike ride! My daughter ordered chicken tenders, which were huge and she loved them! My wife had the pineapple boat with tuna salad, fruit and yogurt (yogurt was subbed for cottage cheese). She loved her meal, too! I had grilled cheese (provolone) with tomato & onions on Rye. It was delicious! We will certainly go back again next time we go biking on Sanibel. Thanks Jerry's Restaurant and Shopping Center for making our day on Sanibel Island...
