I absolutely Love Nanny’s. My son is just now starting to grow out of their clothing and I wish that wasn’t the case because they have some of the cutest and softest outfits. They carry one of my favorite companies called Hatley. Luckily, they also carry jelly cats and always have new ones coming in which make my daughter and her friends very happy. Ali and Dana are awesome ladies and the owner Heather is the best! As an island resident, I have been going to Nanny’s since before my first daughter was born in 2002. Nanny’s is an island icon, tradition and beloved mainstay even long before that. The lines carried, the love apparent that goes into the store and this long time tradition are unprecedented. Many other children stores have come and gone but Nanny’s remains a solid rock and an island icon. If you’re new to the island, visit Nanny’s and find the heart of Sanibel and our children. This was a jewel find. As we came up the steps to Jerry's Grocery, it was right beside, hence totally convenient. This store is a grand parent's dream come true. All the clothes and books! We found five outfits in about two minutes, plus a lovely Italian sweater and two books. I can hardly wait to mail them out to San Francisco. The next time we come, I hope we have the children with us so they can choose. The stock is lovely and abundant with a full range of sizes. I am so grateful that...
