San Lorenzo Park Plaza Shopping Center — Local services in Santa Cruz

This shopping center really needs more police or security oversight, the homeless and crime problem here is a major problem and I do not feel safe parking my car here to go into trader Joe's let alone the riverfront movie theater. It is dirty and it is covered with drug deals and campers. The only reason for 3 stars is the good selection of business here such as trader joes, CVS ( 24hr) the movie theater, a good sushi restaurant, woodstocks, and a few others. Park in the parking structure on walnut and walk here, it is much safer. Bring pepper spray or something to protect yourself with If you are walking at night time alone. This place backs up to the infamous " river walk" that everybody in town knows to stay away from. Increase the security or police presence here and this will be a much better place to visit.

P.s. Many people who are going downtown park here and make it hard for locals who actually want to shop here, making it even more difficult... again, increase...

I love the garden center very knowledgeable about plants and gardening will not sell you stuff you don't need and if your plant or plants get sick or die they will replace with receipt... So keep that receipt I have only had 1 tomato plant get sick though and still got great tomatoes from it. Lumber store is a little confusing unless you go often and learn the layout inside but they are very reasonable in prices and have things that you can't find at larger stores like Home Depot, very fast and friendly service and outdoor lumberyard will make cuts to specific sizes and load your...

I love going to this place because of Petco you can go in there and find any kind of worm you want for fishing because they carry them for all the fish that they sell and you can check out all the different animals and you want to take some home it's pretty cool but there's also lots of other places places to eat there's a bank there may federal credit union Xfinity TV just a lot of different shops...
