Had to pick up some coffee at Cat and Cloud so we decided to grab some food while we were at it. So we decided on the Abbott Square location for the option of grabbing a variety of food in their food court. Of course the coffee was amazing. The square has a ton of outdoor seating that has a system in place where people come clean as you leave.

We all decided on Belly Goat burgers. I've had the pizza place before, so I was excited for something new. The Seoul burger was so damn good. Pork belly, Kimchi and a fried egg over a perfectly cooked patty. The bun was perfectly thick and held the contents well. We got two different kind of fries. I highly recommend spending the two extra bucks for garlic fries. Just enough garlic to compliment and...

Very fun and variety rich market square. Quality music can be heard Fridays much of the year. There is a beer Garten seving craft brews from many local high quality breweries, Bar, Hamburger Joint and desert Cafe amongst other food places. You can come and go as you please too. Abbott Square has a quite intimate feel for an outside venue with ample table seating and standing room, pleasant lighting and a very artsy feel. Dogs seem welcome too. Parking is surprisingly good for downtown Santa Cruz. I am a musician who has played there and they provide a professional sound system run by a competent sound person that keeps things under control, not too loud and well balanced. Much dancing occurs at most shows. I recommend checking...

Re the pizza place opposite Cat Cloud coffee at Abbott Square This is a bit concerning - yesterday while getting coffee we sat by the pizza place & I noticed a big open tub of sauce sitting on the counter - no lid… ewww - left overnight obviously. Ok that was kind of gross. Today we sat in same place & there was a stack of pizza trays, with the pizza still on them - uncovered off to the side of the counter!!! Ready to be heated back up & served today I’m guessing! So disgusting - no covering on them - rodent ready! Guess I’m going to have to cross this place off my list of good pizza! Yuck! I’ve been here several times over the years and now I can’t unsee that lack of care for the health of...
