Toshiba laptop that is only a few years old started having video problems when opening the lid. USC (User Friendly Computer) diagnosed for free, unfortunately the repair cost more than a new laptop. When I was searching for some files on the old laptop it asked me for my password that no longer worked. USC got into it and informed me of an issue in the operating system that randomly does this, not me, again no charge. I am self-employed and rely on my laptop for work and was nervous there would be downtime while I got it repaired.
