Fruit of the Earth Organics — Local services in Santa Fe

Update I am updating my review to reflect my upgrade from 3 to 4 stars (4.5 really). All previous issues regarding pricing and service have been addressed, and this is now my favorite dispensary in town. The flower and pre-rolls are top quality, staff is mostly very pleasant and informative, and the atmosphere is always clean and comfortable. There is still a $2.50 charge if you use a card, but if you use cash it's not a problem. Overall we can see why they won Best of Santa Fe this year for sure 👍

Original post Feb. 2019: I have had some Bad, and some Good experiences at this dispensary here. Ultimately it depends on who attends you behind the counter. The guy in the blurred picture above over-charged me recently saying certain products were $12/gram when a few days later (not during any discounted time) the same product was $7/gram. During that earlier transaction he also Over-charged my debit card by $3 and I received 2 ATM withdrawal fees on top. NEVER PAY WITH A CARD HERE. I haven't had this problem at any other dispensary in town. On the flip side, the 2 female employees whom have attended me on separate occasions were exceptional and made my visits great. So its a gamble when you go in. Their products are good though (if you get the right price that is) and the store is nice...

I have to say first and foremost that the Fruit of the Earth Organics staff is top notch...truly friendly, present and hospitable, and the dispensary itself an extremely cool, comfortable spot to wait while other patients are being taken care of. However,I believe in the value of forums where people can read honest reviews and make informed choices. With that being said, it's important to note that I have shopped around many dispensaries , and have had more than 13 years of experience with cannabis. While Fruit of the Earth Organics flower products are by no means the worst I've ever come across....they are certainly no where close to the best. On every occasion when purchasing their flower, I've purchased a variety of different strains to which there is very little distinguishing between. I understand that out door growing is nice in theory, but it doesn't really seem to be doing their crop any favors because it presents the dynamic of an uncontrolled atmosphere(and we live in a desert!) These guys work very hard, and so it pains me to leave such a review, but this is after all about keeping it real. Have had nothing but great experiences coming to, & buying from here & is also where I was able to get my medical card on 420 for 50% off!! Only $100, & they have very reasonable prices on their flower, & everything else but don't just take my word for it, go check em out yourself & first time customers get a free preroll which is always nice! Very beautiful, friendly & helpful sales staff & employees, you feel very welcomed & in a relax safe chill environment when your shopping there, & they have a very good selection of high end top shelf products, as a smoker of almost half my life, I can truly say that the bud is grade a top notch, & according to one of the girls working there, they are able to provide such high quality cannabis at such affordable prices, because of how their outdoor grow op is run, so of course they'll have your "name brand" strains there that everybodys heard of such as blue dream, & og kush as well as some not so well known ones which definitely gives you good variety even just beyond indica...
