Consistently high quality treats and confections, paired with excellent customer service. The items they do not make themselves in house are incredibly well curated, yet I cannot recommend their local specialties enough. You can also trust them when they tell you how spicy something is, for those of you who have to be wary with capsation but enjoy your chili flavor. Absolutely wonderful experience at this chocolate shop! You can really taste the love and care in every handmade truffle and dipped fruit. The chocolate was rich and comforting, and the staff made us feel so welcome.

I noticed a few lower reviews online, but in my experience, they don’t reflect what this shop is truly about. Everyone has their own tastes, but if you value artisanal quality, warm service, and unique local flavors, this place is a must-visit in Santa Fe.

The chocolate smith has a mouse infestation. The chocolate they are selling has been contaminated by mouse feces!!!! Do not buy chocolate here!!! I know first hand. I worked here for nearly a year and recently quit because I refuse to sell people chocolate that could potentially get them sick.
