He wasn’t just a seller—he was a storyteller, eager to share the history and culture behind every item. His hospitality was genuine, and he made the whole visit feel personal and special.

Love, love, love the lamps we bought while in Santa Fe! We met Costas - the Artist that designed the two matching lamps we bought at his shop “Magic Art”, while vacationing in Santa Fe. My husband and I wanted to find a “special something” to remember our 42nd Wedding Anniversary by and we saw these two beautiful lamps and just knew this was that “special something” that we were looking for. Costas is extremely friendly and personable and he made our trip to his shop “enchanting”, just like “Santa Fe - The Land of Enchantment”. We actually visited his Shop twice, going back the second time to make our purchase. In some ways, it is not surprising to come across Magic Art in a place like Santa Fe. This is a space that feels straight out of 1001 Nights: beautiful, magical, absolutely enchanting, with true old world vibe. Step inside to have your own magical adventure with beautiful hand made rugs, textiles, ceramics, fabulous leather handbags incorporating old kilim rug pieces (this is high level repurposing), decorative colorful glass and brass lamps of all shapes and sizes, and countless other decorative items for the home. The owner is friendly and very knowledgeable about the items (material, where it was made, techniques used, care, etc) and ultimately very helpful with decision making as to which of the gorgeous items would be best for your particular needs. Even if you are not shopping, put aside some time to visit Magic Art, just for the experience....
