Shake Shack Santa Monica — Restaurant in Santa Monica

I'm a a caretaker for elderly and disabled people and I took one of my clients here that was wearing a shirt that was I guess Republican in nature it had a flag on it and said something I can't honestly truly remember cuz I didn't think it was a big deal but one we went into the restaurant here they treated us like garbage and our food was all a mess when it was given to us. Are you I usually have had good times at this restaurant and would have put it down to someone having a bad day but when we were ordering the person taking our order made a snide comment about my clients shirt and how they'd be ashamed to leave the house and Republicans are disgusting. I thought that was a pretty gross thing to say and then when the food came and looked the way it did I was shocked and I wanted to leave this message to anyone who maybe has a middle-of-the-roader more right leaning view of politics like you're going to get harassed here or bad service they don't seem to like Republicans and now I've read they won't use Martin potato buns which I think are some of the best just because supposedly they have ties to a right-wing signature in Pennsylvania that's how petty this restaurant chain is and the people they hire they will openly buy a seal for your political beliefs I would advise people to...

Pros:

1. Lots of seating both inside and out.
2. Decent sized parking lot, but I can see it getting full when the restaurant gets crowded. When I went to pick up my food, there were only a couple of open spots, and the restaurant was only about a quarter full. I'm thinking people are parking there and going somewhere else nearby.
3. Meat was nicely charred and tasty, bun not too big. My wife really likes the Black Truffle 'Shroom. I liked the taste of the Shack Burger.
4. Cringle-cut fries are decently crispy.

Cons:

1. My Shack Burger could have used more fixings (lettuce & tomato), it was very sparse.
2. Prices are a bit high, but manageable. I thought it was because this location is located in Santa Monica, where the rents are high and tourists are plentiful, but I went on their website and tried ordering at other locations across the country and the prices are the same.
3. I had a hard time ordering on shakeshack.com. Every time I tried adding something, it wouldn't go into the bag, i.e., I would click Add to Bag, I would see the button turn to Added with a checkmark, but the bag wouldn't have anything. I thought it might be my browser, but the same thing happened on Edge, Chrome, and Firefox. I was able to place an order using the mobile...

I went to california during thanksgiving and was in LA for some Black friday shopping for one day! Had to hit up my Shake Shack before leaving LA because Shake Shack is my absolute fave! Never had any real issues, just perfect in my eyes EVERY SINGLE LOCATION! I ordered my usual shack burger with fries and a side of cheese. I double check with the older gentleman taking my order as people assume cheesefries instead, he nods in assurance. I get my receipt and it doesn’t say anything about the request of cheese sauce on the side but he has charged me extra for a side of cheese and cheese fries. I talk quietly about the mistake with my friend i figure whatever its all good more cheese doesn’t hurt anyone haha but one of your workers overhears the conversation after a little back and forth he persists and insists to make things right! Your team really didn’t have to do that but it was appreciated nonetheless. I got the order sorted out correctly but myself and your worker profusely apologized to one another!
