The CHILDREN cashiers here need to be trained.

We had initially purchased souvenirs and the cashiers were pretty rude. I attributed it to them just being young, but my travel partner was upset by their lack of communication to say the total price or thank you. I had to go back to the store because we needed a small bag to carry the souvenirs we were purchasing and I wasted about 1 hour of my life with these children.

When they rang me up, instead of charging me for the item I was purchasing, the silly girl charged me for an item that someone else had asked to price check and had walked away from. $27. And she made no effort to communicate the error to me or to someone who could help. She kept on laughing in terror, without saying or doing anything. When I asked them to call a manager to resolve the issue and give me a refund, the other child working here came to her defense and told me that they couldn't do anything because all the Managers were in a very important meeting. He said in a very defiant tone, that I could either wait or leave. If I didn't like it, I could leave. He then proceeded to try to charge me for the item I was purchasing, without resolving the initial issue.

I stood my ground, but by God, it took a lot of patience to deal with such ineptitude. A grown up manager arrived and resolved the situation smoothly. I informed them of the way the child had spoken to me and that they need to be better trained. Super unpleasant experience on our one day in...
