J.Jill — Local services in Santa Rosa

J. Jill used to be a favorite of mine and this store had very friendly and helpful staff. I hadn't been in quite awhile and I was surprised and saddened by my recent visit.

In prior years the trouble with shipping at J.Jill was deciding which if their things I could afford to buy in one trip. Now, I can't find a thing I want. The styles have gotten "old and fuddy." The patterns and materials are elderly and the necklines belong on a nun. I'm 58 and dress very appropriately for my age, these styles are too old for me, let alone the thirty to forty year old set, which is more JJ's to group.

On top of the downward trend in fashion, the staff was also completely different and much older. That didn't bother me, but the lack of greeting, assistance and friendly faces, did.

I still have three stars though, because I have a closet full of many years of J Jill clothing which is high quality and very loved.

JJill is the go-to if you want fun, comfortable, interesting clothing....

So wonderfully helpful even when I was dressed for gardening...
