We were brought back in for another class and it was great. The new head chef is amazing. A wonderful teacher and we took home a lot of great tips. Iām so happy they reached out to make things right. Will definitely book another class in the future
I waited a few weeks to write this review to give the management time to make it right but they have not attempted to do so. I called corporate and spoke to the manager.
I signed up for a cooking class and paid $178 for two people. Per the website, 4 people will be working together at a table and sharing supplies. This is what we expected. It was not, however, a full class and there was an empty table. Rather than give the party of 3 their own table, they crammed 5 people into one table and we had to share supplies and take turns pouring ingredients. Using the mixer. The staff could have easily avoided this. Keep in mind; this is a basic cooking/baking class. So each person stirs it, one person breaks an egg, etc. to add another person really takes away from the hands on experience.
It was apparent that the staff wanted to avoid using another table, save on supplies and ingredients by shoving 5 people into one table. Additionally, it was so hard to hear the instructor, she walks around giving directions but you donāt really know what sheās talking about. And when she would walk to your table, she would just do it for you.

My wife called before I stopped in to see if they had them and the woman on the phone told us they had four left. I was having trouble finding them so I asked the woman behind the counter for some direction and she proceeded to be very rude and then tell me they didn't have any. I am glad I decided to believe the first person we spoke to because another employee actually helped me find the last four left. I also decided to purchase a new shun knife and while I was there the same woman that was rude to me kept giving me dirty looks the whole time. I don't know why she took such a dislike to me and while I know they are stressed this time of year, I was very polite and just trying to find something for our familyās visit for Christmas. I am a chef and my family and I have purchased at least 2000 dollars in kitchen knifes from this store and I am seriously considering finding a different store for my supplies...

I was told, like a child, ānew company ownership, No returns without a receiptā. Pretty much before I could even get the words out of my mouth. Rude itās the only word I can use to describe her! I love that you employ elderly women. Iām all about DEI! But when it damages, your customer experience detrimentally, itās a bad mistake. Bonnie needs to have her hand slapped and that she shouldnāt treat customers so poorly. You have officially lost a customer in this location! Our product that we wanted to return still had the original packaging and sticker that it came from your store. But she was quick to jump down my throat and explain, it could not be returned without a receipt. How about a little humility and feel for who is now screwed based on...
