Absolute worst experience possible. DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION! If I could give you guys a zero star rating I would. I went in to this location and the place was so crowded it was almost hard to breathe. I went in to sell clothing and dropped off my basket. The line literally wrapped around the entire store and I ended up waiting in line for an hour, just to pick up my items I planned on selling. I could have gotten out much faster if they had a separate line for just picking up items, like other stores do. The disorganized mess was so overwhelming, I almost had to walk out. There were probably only two employees checking people out with over 60 customers in line. Everything was such a mess and overwhelming. When a few others and I went to go ask if there was a separate line to just pick up our items, the employee answered with a snotty attitude and told us to get back in the ridiculously long line. The wait time was absolutely absurd, and I wasn't the only one who was getting irritated. I got up to the front, and was completely scammed. First of all, they passed on Lululemon from me, but I found destroyed and awful merchandise on the shelves. For a couple of my great condition, trendy items, they tried to give me $1! I understand they can't give out a lot of money, but $1 for multiple items is offensive and not worth it. I am blown away by the complete garbage you guys bought and put on the shelves, but pass on trendy, and good condition clothing. I won't be returning to your store in the future. You guys need to find some employees who are willing to work in a busy environment and employees who don't have a RUDE attitude when customers are asking...
Read moreIdk what happened to this place but it's an absolute dumpster fire now.
I've been selling clothes at this store since they were still located in Kirkwood years ago. There used to be such sweet employees who would thank me for bringing in my clothing to buy and tell me how great my items were, and even tell me how many items they set aside to buy for themselves! Within the last year, idk if they changed management or updated their standard policies or what, but it's become a total nightmare. The woman who I assume is the manager (she is always standing behind the check in touch screen) has an incredibly horrible attitude and is clearly miserable. She won't make eye contact with any customers, much less look up from her stuff to say hello. Shes been so rude to everyone who approaches her the last 4 times I've been in the store.
I used to bring in 2 bins of clothing and they would take almost every item and I'd get around 70-100 dollars. The last two times I've gone, I brought brand new with tags items, all bought in the last year from their target brands, and they take about 40 items and give me ~35 dollars. Yesterday, they took two winter coats, shoes, dresses, sunglasses, etc (40+ items, almost all new and unworn) and only gave me 40 bucks. I couldn't believe it. Just one of the coats cost more than that.
Then, if you go shop around the store you'll find old, dirty clothing with holes stains and tears, and you wonder how these items were bought??
I'm so bummed to say it but I think I'm officially done with platos. Going to go somewhere else to find friendly employees and fair...
Read moreI have shopped here before and haven't been all that impressed with the selection of clothing, let alone how some items smelled like smoke. However, I thought I would try to bring some clothes in to sell (this was about a month ago). The entire trash bag full of clothes were high name brand clothes (express, Gap, American Eagle) that were gently used, some even still had the tags! I had never sold clothes before so I stood at the counter waiting for someone to greet me and ask if I needed help (while 3 girls were at the counter looking at/folding clothes). I waited for over 15 minutes before someone asked if I needed help. They very coldly told me to use the iPad to fill out my info and that they would call me when they were done. While in the store I found nothing of interest, again. Everything was either over used or not even close the being in style, I even found an Old Navy shirt (nothing against that, but I didn't expect them to take that brand). I waited for about 20 more minutes while they looked at my stuff and I finally got a text saying they were done and to come claim my items. Needless to say when one of the workers grabbed my whole bag full of clothes and said, "your brands were great, but they styles were not what were are looking for so we are giving you and offer of $0" was very embarrassing especially when they just paid someone in front of me for some items that were older than mine. I will definitely not be coming back to shop since trying to sell has left a sour taste...
