I have been collecting coins for 45 years. I have been to at least 2 dozen coins stores in that time. Coastal Coin is a throwback to the best days of collecting, when the coin dealer was not a 'CASH FOR YOUR GOLD' place, but an avid, knowledgeable coin dealer and collector himself. This is as reputable a place as you will ever find. Anyone who says otherwise is simply wrong or fabricating a story. They encourage the hobby, have plenty of periodicals like Numismatic News and Coin World, etc.. to read, and a great variety of items from early copper to modern gold and world coins. They will spend as much time as it takes to evaluate what you have, and it makes no difference if you sell or not. I stopped into Coastal Coin Co. and meet Robert (having read 5-star reviews about him and his store) and asked him to help me with completing my portfolio of Washington Quarters and Roosevelt Dimes. I was warmly greeted and he answered all my questions on coin grading and how he priced & graded his coins.

Before too long, we were looking at several coins / coin collections and agreeing to prices. I felt very comfortable with his easy demeanor and courteous manner.

I spend 3 hours completing reviews of Roosevelt & Mercury dimes, Washington quarters, Peace dollars and Walking Liberty 1/2 dollars. I left completely satisfied with my selections and was very pleased that Robert provided me the assistance & proper technique to package the coins in the coin holders,

I walked into Coastal Coin CO. And was greeted by a gentleman named Robert. He was extremely truthful, almost to a fault! He evaluated my collection and offerred me a very sizable amount of money for what I've collected. After talking with him he was more than willing to cut me a check (great moral/ethical salesman) and after further discussion explained to me how my collection would only appreciate in value in the future. He further convinced me to bring the rest of my collection in only due to his own love for collecting and wanting to see what I possessed that he hadn't previously seen. This is the only fine coin/precious metals shop I will deal with and trust to deal with my collective valuables.
