My mom and I recently visited Woodhouse Spa Sarasota, and we were both deeply impressed by the experience. I’ve been a remote Social Media Manager for Woodhouse Spa locations for years (based in France), but this was my first time actually experiencing one in person. This visit was made possible thanks to Lux214, and I’m so grateful I finally had the chance to understand in person what we represent online.

We were warmly welcomed with a smile. The hospitality team was incredibly kind and understanding, especially since I needed to photograph and film the experience leading up to the treatment. Even with intake forms to fill out, time needed to change in the changing lounge, and capturing content, we still managed to enjoy the Himalayan Salt Sauna and take a few quiet moments before our experiences began.

The spa itself was immaculate and beautifully laid out. We were offered mimosas upon arrival, a small but memorable luxury, especially for me as a breastfeeding mom who rarely gets to enjoy a drink. The robes were cozy and warm, and the slippers were surprisingly comfortable. The salt room, located within the women’s lounge, was a lovely touch.

My mom’s massage therapist, Ken, picked her up promptly and made a lasting impression. She’s not someone who usually enjoys massages, but she told me she slowly relaxed over time and truly appreciated the experience. She also said Ken came across as a truly kind person and a true professional.

My massage therapist was Anna, and she was such a delight. Her calm but bubbly energy put me at ease right away, which I really appreciated. But the real magic was in the experience itself. I don’t know if it’s the Woodhouse Way or Anna’s way, but she understood the assignment when I told her I preferred deep pressure. As a mom of two little ones, I really needed someone to work out all the knots and kinks, and she got the job done.

The experience started with aromatherapy, which immediately set the tone. The dry body brushing was absolutely divine and left me confident I’d be walking out with the smoothest skin I’ve had in years. The hot Himalayan stones were the perfect temperature and glided across my skin with ease, melting tension I didn’t even realize I was holding. I’m a big fan of reflexology, and that portion of the experience exceeded my expectations. Even the scalp massage, which I usually skip, surprised me by releasing a whole new layer of tension.

I didn’t expect to feel as deeply relaxed as I did by the end of it. I left feeling lighter, calmer, and more at peace than I have in a very long time. Nearly 24 hours later, I still feel no tension or pain in my body.

This experience was beyond what I imagined, and I’m thrilled to have finally lived the story I help tell.

Jen’s massage was just the right pressure, to relax my extremely tight muscles and melt away every bit of tension, leaving me feeling completely relaxed, renewed and ready for my next self-care treatment!

This was my first time getting a Hydrafacial and Stephanie did a great job of explaining every step of the treatment and the benefits. This 80 minute facial experience was so incredibly relaxing and it left my skin really smooth, with a super hydrated, nourished glow!
