Americas Best Value Inn Sarasota Downtown — Hotel in Sarasota

I stayed here one night with my husband and my son. We arrived, put our son to sleep, got cleaned up and I ordered pizza while my husband went to bed. Around 11pm. Pizza was to arrive by midnight. Midnight came around and I heard nothing, so I went to the lobby where I asked the man if he had heard from any delivery drivers. He said he had not. I asked would he please let me know if one showed up. He agreed and I returned to our room.. turns out the pizza place was closed by then and I found a place to order that would deliver by 3am. (We were so hungry so we agreed!) I went to sleep and awoke to the room phone and was told my food had arrived. I went to sign my credit card slip and get my food. The next morning we checked out. Even cleaned the room for them.

3 weeks later I booked another room there through a 3rd party site. I arrived with both of my sons this time around at about 8pm. I handed my driver's license and credit card to the woman at the front desk so abruptly and rudely told me I was on their "do not rent" list. I was in shock. I asked what for. She was nasty and told me she needed us to leave. We pressed for for more info as neither my husband or myself could think if a single reason that we would be on that list. She then told us that last time we had stayed that we had " a bad attitude". We were quiet in our room. My son and husband got cleaned up and went right to sleep. I had an issue ordering food, but that wasnt on them, that was on the delivery service.

I got a response from someone at the hotel about my experience and naturally, as I expected, they blamed it on a "domestic dispute" of some sort. This is ludicrous and they must have us mistake with another family. A couple leaving the same time as us were bickering back and forth. They responded that they didn't want to "expose" their guests to our domestic disputes. This is very unprofessional and simply untrue. There were no issues between my husband and I and their ridiculous accusations cost my family a lot of money, time, stress and inconvenience.

Never will I ever do business with this hotel or any of it's affiliates. I will continue to rate it as low as possible everywhere that I see the chance until I receive an apology.

What kind of management does this to a family with kids at 9pm at night? They couldn't even tell me when we checked out that morning? That in itself tells me...

First off this place has roaches , second thing is the staff is super strange I stayed for 3 days 2 night was the same 2 people from the time u wake up till time u go to bed possibly owners as well anyways super rude the whole time 3rd issue is the pool is disgusting has debris and leaves in it looks to never be cleaned the concrete area around the pool was full of debris was so nasty we didn't even want to go near it 4th and main issue is they require a deposit of $30 in the beginning of your stay in case u smoke in the room I told the lady np I don't smoke I basically used this room just to sleep and do business else where through the whole Day when I went out on balcony u can smell cigarettes and Marijuana lingering from other tenants after 3 weeks I realized they kept my deposit when I called them they confirmed they kept my deposit because I smoked in my room which is not true then she proceeds to tell me I was smoking pot in my room and kept my deposit even though it's not true I suspected they was gonna pull something funny so I cleaned my room and took the key to the desk on time on checkout only thing I didn't do was make the bed but yet they still kept my deposit and the 4th issue was check our time is 11 am and at 10 am the lady who owns the building works the desk and also does house keeping knocked and quickly opened my door 1 hour before checkout to clean my room I mean fr how rude can u be come in my room 1 hour before checkout while I'm trying to get ready and keep a deposit and lie about why u r keeping it this place is a scam and dirty payed 160 a night only because it was during spring break SMH u guys should be ashamed of yourselves I contacted my bank after dealing with the extremely rude lady who never sleeps and runs the whole show if u r reading this run as fast as u can find another hotel this is not where u want to be while visiting beautiful Florida this hotel will be the reason u regretted the trip hope u keeping my $30 was worth this review I wouldn't have even left this if u weren't so greedy BTW stop telling people they are defaming your business name if the accusations are true says 50 plus reviews then it...

I don't even know where to begin America's value downtown beautiful Sarasota Florida it's definitely one of a kind whether it's a steak Asian or a vacation. Customer service for desk are always so professional well-mannered and willing to help and will always go the extra mile. I've been saying it this room at least three times a week for less 2 months never have had an issue with a chicken or a dirty room anything of that matter they take pride in their building and they're exterior as well as their interior. They have rooms with non-smoking smoking poolside gardenside or even with a balcony standing room double room king size room double bed full bed so it's definitely worth the variety and it's such a great amazing price you must have a key to get inside the building to get to your room you must be fully checked in and have a key for your safety is taken into consideration as well on their behalf. In the front office is where you get your breakfast complimentary breakfast cereal coffee through orange juice apple juice they have as well. I got to say for their price they really do their job well to keep it great growing business keep up the good work and as always I love my stay with you it's my home away from home whether it's for a night movie or a month and I promise you won't be disappointed soda machine on site snack vending machine on site laundry last night as well as ice machine they carry Wi-Fi mini refrigerator and microwave as well what can I say it's like a mini apartment thank you for keeping everything so beautiful nice and as always I will keep coming back see you again soon this is definitely a five-star rating hotel in my eyes I promise you won't be...
