Homesense — Local services in Sarasota

As much as I love Homesense I will never be returning to this location again. I have never felt so disrespected or shamed in my life. I asked an associate to check on an area rug for me 20 min before closing and was given attitude- ‘you’re really going to ask me about an area rug before closing’.. followed by the cashier who was shaming me for having my 3 year old out past 9pm. There was no remorse or sincerity. On top of it I am 8.5 months pregnant which both of ladies could clearly realize… disgusted. Still waiting on corporate to call me back as I know the store manager at this location is beyond rude to customers . I’ve witnessed a couple of incidents. I should’ve known then to not return...

Similar to Homegoods and TJ Maxx (I didn't realize they're all part of the same brand family) they sell similar brands and some of the same products. This location is like a larger more intense Homegoods, organized a bit better. They have everything from notebooks and cards, to organization pieces, to lots of furniture pieces. I would say that the quality ranges but they have many colors and styles that you may not be able to find elsewhere.
