Most of The Pharmacy staff here is quite literally a joke. Not all but most An Indian pharm staff Once told me I had to pay 95$ for a medication that Ive never had to pay for before and was rude when I told her she was wrong. I advised her that she was doing something incorrectly and needs to look into it because I am covered. She argued and said I have to pay or I have to leave ?!?! I Asked for manager and they told me she had not entered my updated insurance info after I TOLD her I had a new Number / Mem Id I was very upset lack of knowledge and customer service she was also not very well spoken english And was difficult to understand her most of the time . I believe here america we should have equal rights to be able to interpret / understand english especially at A medical facility lol….. so ya .they also do not answer the phone EVER .
Update 12/11/2024: I decided to try this pharmacy again to pick up a prescription a couple of days ago. I have the CVS app and it informed me that my prescription was ready for pick up. I went to pick up my prescription and the pharmacy technician advised me that there was no refills Or anything ready for me to pick up. I showed her my app and she said that’s strange. Let me get the pharmacist. The pharmacist who mind you had a supposed PhD, Advise me the same thing. She informed me the prescription I was asking for was picked up in October…… I was going to attempt to show and explain that that is not literally possible, But instead, I just drove away( I was at the drive up). I re-submitted the request on my app and I went the next day and had 0 issue picking it up. I just want to point out the utter stupidity And lack of common sense That this pharmacy has. Again, I mean this with all the respect but I’m quite frankly confused how someone is a pharmacist and told me that I picked a prescription up in October I tried to explain that’s not possible but OK, And then I just resubmitted the request and I got my prescription the next day like can someone explain to me how this is possible??? Seriously, people need to get their shit together lol. Also, the prescription I was trying to pick up is not a controlled substance or anything that I’m proud to have to go pick up… So the reason I’m updating you is because I had to stay home symptomatic for an extra night All because the pharmacy was incompetent And would not look into this further…. I had to wait an entire another day to go get my prescription Due to their lack...
Read moreIn the last year, I have come to this pharmacy a handful of times for various prescription pick-ups, I've left every time with the same disappointment. The customer service is rude and combative. The employees come off as entitled and bothered to be doing their job. They act as though they are so busy, yet every time I'm there the line is non-existent with maybe one car in the drive thru and a full staff of 5-6 people.
Below are just a few of the things I've encountered:
The agent at the drop-off counter was yelling at an older gentlemen, because he was at the wrong location. He said multiple times he understood he was at the wrong location but just wanted to know if it were possible to get one blood pressure pill in the meantime - rather than saying no and explaining that she couldn't she just kept on saying 'you're at the wrong location' I received my automated call that my infant daughter's amoxicillin prescription was ready. When I arrived for a pickup, I had to wait over 20 minutes for it to be filled. Prior to getting my daughter's perception, a woman before me also got amoxicillin. (To this day I wonder if they just took ours and gave it to them and made us wait for another one) When saying that I had a question regarding a prescription, rather than walking over to discuss with me, the pharmacist just calls out over the back counter 'what's the question?' I had to wait for her to get my social que that I was not about to announce my question for the whole world to hear. She huffed and reluctantly came over to the counter to assist me. Forget about calling in - we're talking a minimum of 15 minutes on hold. (For that 'oh so-busy' line I mentioned above) This past Sunday (7.2.17) the pharmacist didn't show I waited 30 minutes past the opening time and then left. (This is after I showed up the night before for a pickup at 8:32pm and the place was already closed for the evening - of course this is my fault, but just adds to the overall impression)
I have since changed to a different CVS pharmacy location and have had 100% better service. I will not be returning to...
Read moreI am updating my review of the CVS store located at 1075 Broadway, Saugus, MA 01906 as of February 11, 2025.
Despite some recent changes, this store remains my preferred destination for personal and home essentials—but only when utilizing the in-app coupons, which essentially match competitors' prices like Walmart.
I have been a loyal customer for over 10 years and have witnessed the store's evolution. Prior to 2023, employees appeared to enjoy their work and exhibited friendly, helpful attitudes. Wait times at the checkout lines were reasonable.
However, with the introduction of two self-checkout counters in 2023—one for card-only payments and the other for cash and card—the customer experience has suffered. The store seems understaffed with only two or three employees working at any given time, leaving one person at the counter and another occupied with stocking or other tasks.
As a result, customers face longer lines at the checkout counter and often encounter issues with the self-checkout machines. Employees are forced to juggle multiple responsibilities, resulting in frustration among customers who end up waiting even longer.
I have observed customers leaving their items behind and exiting the store due to dissatisfaction—one instance during the Christmas season in 2024 involved a gentleman who simply left with his items without completing the purchase process.
While I understand the necessity for increased security measures, such as locked items, this further complicates the shopping experience by requiring customers to wait for assistance when retrieving specific products.
To maintain customer satisfaction and improve efficiency, I suggest the store management consider hiring additional staff and improving checkout procedures. This would not only create a more seamless shopping experience but also contribute to the store's...
