Been here numerous times now and couldn't think of a negative thing to say about the place or the people who work there if I tried. Not even the convenience fee for paying with your debit card pisses me off because if I'm just too darn lazy to stop at my bank right up the street to get cash before coming here so I can avoid that extra $3.50, it's on me. Same if I feel like placing my order and paying online through Dutchie ahead of going there — there's a fee for using that pay by bank feature as well; but see, I KNOW that, and the convenience of ensuring my items are secured for ME and ME only, and don't get sold out before I get there is occasionally worth that extra few bucks to me, so, it's nothing that I ever mind when I use my card instead of cash.

Today's experience was quite typical as far as my enjoyment of my experience, but I had a budtender today that I'd never had before, whose name was Randy, and boy did we have a laugh together while I was there! He was additionally incredibly helpful in that, he reminded me I had loyalty points I could use to get more than I originally came to get, and that was on top of their sale, so I left there with an extra package of edibles at nearly no cost to me, and wouldn't have known I had the opportunity to do so without Randy's help! For being a recreational only dispensary, they have always had what I want in stock, their prices are on point, they've always got sales going on that help keep the customer's cost down, they're always super helpful, and I will say that anytime I go in from now on, if Randy is there, I'll be asking for him to be the one to take care of me....

It went to Star Buds my first time in March, as I have been having a bad time finding a dispensary I like. I also feel my personality can at times be even a lot for myself lol as I need help with stuff when I go into a store when I truly want to make a purchase. Normally I am one who doesn't want to be bothered but when I comes to a dispensary I need help. I was in the retail industry for over 25 years and this type of industry some of us truly need the help versus a kiosk to order on. Can I just say wow 🤩 Maria and her coworker were amazing to me and just made my shopping experience the best. I told my husband I found my store as I suffer from chronic back pain and MS. I may look fine but I am always uncomfortable and have chronic fatigue. I waited to do my review becuase I wanted to see if my next experience would be as amazing. It was just as awesome aS my last regardless of how much you spend they treat you so kind. As I wanted stuff for sleep and to keep me awake and Woody was spot on with everything. I have been able to stay awake for my homework as I M getting my masters and I am wowed. I am so happy I found my Happy Place to be Star buds and I hope when I go for my monthly or bi-monthly trips I always have the great experiences with this great team of peeps. They truly no how to make an older gal...

Just went to the Star Buds @ the intersection of Roselle & Golf roads last night. I usually feel intimidated in these dispensary's cause I don't know what I'm doing, but Dee the young customer rep who assisted me was fantastic! She put me at ease and asked questions so she knew what was going on with me. They had a very wide variety there which really helped me. I've been looking for a particular brand & flavor as it helps me with severe & debilitating pain. I have been looking for this particular brand for almost 2 months & nobody seemed to carry it anywhere near us. That meant either driving downtown or at least an hour away from us to get it. Not a good idea if you're in severe pain. And the other suggestions that were made didn't work on the pain as well & tasted bad! 😫 Anyway, Dee was so attentive, and then realized they had in stock the very thing I was looking for!! I almost cried. 🥹 Sounds silly, but if you had pain that never "turns off"!!! Then you'll understand! Not only that, but the reps there really seemed to care about what I've been through.
