We had several issues with our order, sent an email, but did not receive a reply. Sent a second email prior to this review as asked on the form; still no reply. Our Italian sausage order was to be 10 pieces, each 3" in length. We had two or three that were about 3", and the rest were bits and pieces, more like sliced ends of other sausages. See photo below. This item was purchased for mini-sandwiches, along with a loaf of bread. That loaf was cut up in small pieces, and the edges hardened very quickly. The croutons in both salads were soggy where they came in contact with the salad; perhaps those would be better served on the side for "to go" orders? Our lasagna was good flavor-wise, although it seemed to be in pieces rather than whole sheets to fit the pan. Serving it was odd since it seemed to be pre-sliced but not obvious before we served it, since the cheese may have covered it? Or it may have been cut from a larger pan and pieced together for our meal? This was our splurge New Year's Eve meal, and it was sadly lackluster, compared to the menu descriptions and our expectations. We've ordered the same items before, and noticed a definite difference. We used to receive a half-tray of lasagna for that $41 price, so we were surprised by how much smaller this particular family size lasagna was for that same price. Overall, it was quite disappointing. Even more disappointing was receiving no response to my...
Read moreI would rate zero if I could. I recently placed an order through Roasti's direct website. They had a special for 2 12inch, 1 ingredient pizzas for $11.99. I also ordered wings. When I got my order there was only one pizza, along with the wings. I called the store to tell them what happened and the person who answered the phone looked it up and told me there was nothing they could do because I ordered through THEIR website and not the store directly. This is unacceptable! I told him this, told him this will be the last time I order through their website, and was about to start to place a new order as I have a house full of kids waiting on their pizza, when the guy hung up on me! I was stunned! This is how you value your customers? Why was this necessary? I don't understand this level of rudeness to a person that is supporting your business! I did not yell, did not cuss, I didn't even raise my voice. So when your customers let you know there is a problem with an online order, your response is that's your problem, not ours, cut them off from talking, and then hang up on them while they are still speaking?! How dare you! You deserve zero stars for this, and to anyone reading this just know that this is how this store treats its customers. There are too many other great pizza places around to spend your hard earned money at a place where there is even the possibility that you will be treated this way. I...

When my family (we're Italian) first moved to the suburbs from Chicago back in '89, we were quickly on the hunt for a pizza place to replace our city favorite, Angelo's. Enter, Rosati's, one of the other locations, nearer to where I was living at that time. I forget how my parents found them, or if they were told by someone to give them a try, but after we ordered from them once, that was it, we were hooked. I know when people talk about authentic Chicago deep dish pizza, they're usually referring to Lou Malnati's and others of that general fare, but if you really want the best, Rosati's is where to go.
Since most are independently owned and operated, and the one we were going to eventually ticked my parents off somehow, we started using a different location, and when I grew up, I found this one on my own, and I'll tell ya, they haven't disappointed once! My parents have come back to town on vacation a few times and enjoyed it thoroughly, and have in fact had me pack and ship it to them in dry ice overnight via UPS, they love it that much, I kid you not!
So, again, being "gourmet" pizza, and truly authentic Italian Chicago stuff, it costs a bit more. But, man, I tell ya, when you take that first bite, you're gonna know just where that couple extra bucks went, and you'll be glad to...
