Came here with a group of 20 for a special occasion. We had 3 tables reserved, 2 tables filled, and had 5 ppl and a baby seat at one. They asked us to move to a smaller table, so they can reserve the bigger table for others, we went back and fourth a little since we had 5 ppl and a baby and didn't want anyone to be uncomfortable. Finally we gave in and moved to a smaller table, which was pointless and a waste a time considering we were the only parties there.
Going back to meal everyone but my sister had unlimited BBQ. My sister doesn't eat certain meat, so she decided to to get the bibimbap, she wouldn't have came if it wasn't for the special occasion. I believe the owner, dark long haired, skinny lady that isn't friendly, comes to our table and insisted my sister go sit by herself at a table because she ordered a bibimbap. Ok, first off, how can you be so rude and tell someone they are not welcomed at a table because they didn't order the BBQ? I've been going to this place for the last 5 years, I've came with parties that didn't even order the BBQ and was able to sit with their parties with no problems at all! We had to go back with her for a good 5 mins! She stated she wasn't allowed at the table because she didn't want her to be eating food she wasn't paying for. First off, she wasn't planning to eat the damn food which is why she ordered her own meal to begin with! Second off, how freaking cheap can you be? I brought in a party of 20!!! Brining in business for you and you're going to give me crap?? Ridiculous!
Having a party of 20, with 18% gratuity they need better service! The staff was completely rude to us! I'm not sure if that's just the way they talk but the waiters were just nasty and rude. No one seemed welcoming. I like the old owner and staff better, everyone was so nice and welcoming, but it's sad that these people don't know what good customer service is. They just lost 20 regulars! I can see this place going out of business...
Read moreHARASSED BY EMPLOYEE!! DO NOT COME HERE !! My significant other and I had lunch around 2:30ish last Sunday, doing the all you can eat option. When we walked in, there were no other patrons and no other new ones during our entire time there. That should've been our first sign to turn around. Our server was an older woman who goes by the name Lee. She sat us down and recommended us the beef brisket, (beef) joomooluk, and the pork belly. The beef brisket tasted old. Some stuff came in little foil packets and were already pre-cooked ?? All the meat was bland and the kimchi and other banchan weren't that special either. We ordered the shrimp that was advertised with the head on, and it didn't have the heads on. My boyfriend ordered a sprite as it was advertised as that, but received a 7 Up. I asked for more dipping sauce and didn't receive it. Normally little things like this wouldn't bother us as much, but we just kept getting deceived. The price was $78 for two people, which was overpriced for the quality of food and service. After paying, we left and got inside our car. The server chased us out to our car (we were parked right in front of the restaurant) and demanded more money for her tip. explained that the food wasn't that great and we simply did not enjoy our time there, yet we still tipped. She said "well you're not tipping the kitchen, you're tipping me." I was already sitting in my car and she was STICKING HER ARM THROUGH THE WINDOW demanding for more tip money. I was uncomfortable with what was happening and ended up signing the receipt for a few more dollars. I also work in the service industry and when people don't tip at all, I still wouldn’t do something that unprofessional. At first glance this place seems decent, but I would NOT...
Read moreWe were the last customers, and four groups were already seated when we arrived around 7:40 p.m. We were informed of the restaurant's 9 p.m. closing time upon seating.
We ordered the unlimited BBQ. Despite our refusal, one of the servers was excessively insistent in promoting LA Rib BBQ, an extra $10 charge.
The marinated squid and shrimp were extremely salty, taste was not good. Looking back, we should have ordered them without the marinade. The side dishes were presented in containers slightly larger than shot glasses size, and I had never encountered Korean side dishes that were so distasteful. They were not for human beings !
I wondered if the sesame oil was pure or mixed with a cheaper oil because it did not smell like it.
One of the side dishes was kelp noodles, cut into roughly 1 cm pieces, so short that it seemed like they had been scraped from the bottom. I inquired, "Did you intentionally cut them this short?" The waitress explained that they had to be cut that way to fit in the small container and for sharing. Speechless!
Despite not requesting rice, a substantial portion was served in a large bowl. When we mentioned that we hadn't ordered the rice while asking for the check, one of the servers casually remarked “We are going to throw it away anyway.” This made us feel like we had been served side dishes right before they were about to be discarded.
It's unlikely that many Koreans would choose to dine at this restaurant, and I won't be returning. Even with the $10 Unlimited BBQ option, it's...
