Burlington — Local services in Schaumburg Township

I received a Burlington coupon for a free blanket with any purchase in the mail. I visited the store and made a purchase but was told that they had run out of the blankets and that I should come back in a couple of days. When I returned, I was again told that they had run out of the blankets. I was told a second time to come back the following week, which I did only to be told they were no longer going to be giving any more blankets out even though there was another week left on the coupon.

Needless to say I was disappointed. I believe, however, that there​ was intent on the part of Burlington to deceive customers with the promise of a nonexistent blanket. I would be curious to see how many patrons actually received a free blanket and how many were turned away after making a purchase. I will never again spend money...

I like this Burlington a lot. It's big and new so it's very clean. They have a big selection for the most part. The only thing I wish they had more of is juniors clothes. The juniors selection is a bit smaller than other Burlingtons in the area. Other than that though it's a good store and you can get a ton of great items for the entire family for very discounted prices.

Edited 8/22/23: I visited again yesterday and I was pleasantly surprised. It looked MUCH cleaner and more organized than when I had visited this past winter. They had a TON of really nice name brand kids clothes for great prices. I ended up spending more than I had planned, but I got SO MUCH for my money and was really happy with...

WOW! So many bad reviews and complaints here. How about before you all complain about how it looks don't ask yourself who makes the store look like that. CUSTOMERS!!!! That's right, you people don't have respect for the little number of employees they have. Because the employees are not the ones leaving stuff on the floor or in departments that don't go. The shoppers are the ones doing it!! If you all feel so disappointed think about how the employee feels. The one employee that tries hard to clean and organize everything gets no respect from the customer. So please, be kind and think about the people that are trying their best to get the store to look nice again. Just don't make it...
