Kristen Clore and the NHCAA have become a second home and family for our family over the past two months. I came to NHCAA at a time of medical crisis and uncertainty. With diagnoses of crohns disease, stage 4 endometriosis, a history of chronic lyme's disease and a recent emergency room visit that resulted in discovering a tumor marker was frighteningly high (1900 when 30 and below is normal), I wanted to find a way of supporting my body to do the healing it needed to do. I am so grateful a friend of mine, who heard about my crisis, said, "Call and book an emergency appointment with Kristin." They got me in immediately and Kristin's warmth, compassion, kindness and skills immediately put me at ease and gave me a sense of hope. I have a deep trust in nutrition but knew I was at a point where I needed something specialized beyond reading books and following diets for those with my symptoms and a level of support to guide my body. I had never done muscle reflex testing and was amazed at how it is used to truly listen to our body and develop a very specialized program to follow which includes pinpointing foods that heal my unique body or those that make it weaker. I also was so thankful to learn what specific supplements my body needed. Amazingly, I have experienced miraculous very healing shortly after I began working with Kristin, first with my tumor marker dropping to an 84 and then seeing my organ functions from being very weak to functioning optimally. Kristin has been so supportive of this miracle and so hopeful for my ongoing wellness. I am so thankful to Kristin and the nutritional healing center. I visit 1-2 times a week, on a special plan that provides this higher level of support. While our income makes it a stretch to pay for your typical health insurance and medical costs and natural healing support, it was absolutely the best use of our funds and an investment in my health. I have not had to go on the $1700 a month injection that my obgyn believed was our best option for slowing the progession of my endometriosis. I have only had 1 medical visit since beginning my work with Kristin. I am optimistic, hopeful and believe that this is the best place for me to be to continue this healing journey that God has me on. Our entire family is now seeing Kristin, as I was so confident that this investment in their health is absolutely worth it for my children's present and future health and well being. She has been so helpful with our children who look forward to seeing her even though at present our son is now, as a result, very limited in what he can eat. We've seen a decrease in symptoms for our children with supplementation and diet changes. It is hard to know what specifically is causing problems for children and so I am so thankful to know what needs to be removed and what doesn't need to be removed from their diets for their unique personal health. A week before I unexpectantly ended up in the hospital a friend in Ethiopia had a dream about me, in which she asked me if I was pregnant due to seeing a large "stone" in my abdomen. In my dream I told her I wasn't pregnant but sick. She then prayed for three days and God showed her a vision of a person helping me and angels surrounding my body healing me. She wrote and said "You will be fine! Don't be afraid". As it turns out, without knowing it at the time, I was carrying 20 cm of ovarian cysts in me and the miraculous results I have experienced align so well with those angels and with the person in the dream who was helping me. I believe this person was Kristen and I am so deeply grateful for finding her. ...

This Place Destroyed My Health.

I started sessions with Taggy Bensaid at the Nutritional Healing Center of Ann Arbor back in March 2020. I went for some minor health things and she said that my program would be 3 months long, and that from there I could move into a maintenance phase.

There were some red flags right away that I (stupidly) chose to ignore: They don’t look at any form of their client’s health history, and they don’t do any blood work. This is probably because they call themselves doctors, but they have zero medical education or experience.

For the first month I felt pretty good energy-wise. None of the things I originally went there for had been addressed or resolved, but energy-wise I felt amazing. That’s where it went downhill.

For the next 6 months my health rapidly declined. I went from a very healthy person (I’m a personal trainer and nutrition coach, so it’s my job to lead by example) into a very, very sick person.

These were the symptoms that I experienced and lived with on a daily basis, and that I repeatedly complained of, in person as well as by email: • Headaches • Nausea • Heart Palpitations • Increased Heart Rate and Racing Heart • Extreme Fatigue • Muscle Weakness • Muscle soreness and aches • Flu-like symptoms • Brain Fog and an inability to think clearly or focus • Short-term memory loss • Insomnia • Anxiety and Depression • Suicidal thoughts • Intense Dehydration • Intense Night-Sweats • Weight-loss

These symptoms severely impacted my life to the point where I couldn’t do my job properly, or study (I was taking some continuing education classes), or on some days, get out of bed.

My concerns about these symptoms were brushed aside as simply ā€œpart of the process.ā€

Finally, I knew I had to seek actual medical attention. After seeing an Endocrinologist and having multiple blood tests and a thyroid test, it was found that I was suffering from Hyperthyroidism and Thyroiditis caused by the over-supplementation of Iodine by Taggy Bensaid. Each one of the symptoms that I experienced (and I’m still working through) are textbook telltale signs of hyperthyroidism.

By this point I had racked up a whopping $2500 bill in supplements and visits at the NHCAA. Taggy Bensaid was so dead-set on following the program that she had laid out for me that she refused to take my concerns seriously and, if I hadn’t taken matters into my own hands, I could have had life-long damage done to my thyroid, along with its removal and subsequent medication for life.

At this time, I’m still not sure that my hormones will ever return to normal, and I’m still not sleeping through the night.

These people are not medical professionals, they have no record of your previous health records, they have no scientific way of tracking what their supplements are doing to your system, and they don’t have the ability to recognize deteriorating health when it’s sitting right in front of them.

On top of that, the supplements that they push aren’t regulated by the FDA and most of them are labelled ā€œproprietary blendā€ which means that literally anything can be in them and there’s no way of knowing what. Finally, the front desk staff is extremely incompetent to the point that I had billing errors at each and every visit.

As far as I’m concerned, these people are dangerous. I can never get the last 7 months of my life back, but I can warn others to prevent this from happening to...

My husband found Dr. Schmidt's YouTube channel and had been watching for several months, finding the information very helpful and educational. So when we decided to make a trip to the US in May 2017 to visit friends (we live in the UK) we also decided to book appointments with Dr. Schmidt at his clinic and see him too while we were there. He assessed us both and gave each tailored (bespoke) plans for the health aspects we were concerned about, it was a very, very helpful and informative afternoon. It is now late 2019 and we continue to benefit from Dr. Schmidt's advice and information, we both continue to watch him on YouTube to learn more and would definitely see him again, either in person and via his distance consulting. And while we both have improved our health, I in particular have changed my life significantly for the better due to the path Dr. Schmidt set me on. The list of improvements is long and I am so very very grateful that Dr. Schmidt shared his information on YouTube so we could find it and learn. Words really cannot do justice to the positive changes I've made. It is a very sad thing, could just as easily be anger and betrayal really, that all my life (I'm over 60) I kept trying to do the right thing for my health. I did my best to follow the standard we have all been told for decades by those in authority and I tried many things - all were for nothing and none were sustainable for long, and are fundamentally flawed by low quality "science". I had to put aside everything I thought I knew and start again to learn how our health is impacted by the food we eat and what food is truly healthy for humans. I will never go back! It is so sad to see how vested interests of corporations and academic institutions have been taking us down such an unhealthy path for so many years. And so sad to see many people one sees in public that could have a happier life if they were not so badly effected by years of wrong dietary information. Thank you loads to Dr. Schmidt and his staff, these words are genuinely meant yet so not enough to express the depth of...
