Dunham's Sports — Local services in Scottsbluff

We went to Dunhams to purchase a gun and were told we had to get a gun permit before they could sell us a gun as they no longer did background checks. Ok, we went to our local police department, applied for a gun permit. We picked up the gun permit in the morning and then returned to Dunhams to pay for the gun. We had to spend one hour and 33 minutes (with an employee)trying to purchase the gun, while Dunhams ran a background check. Why in the world do they not have you fill out all the necessary papers when you first visit their store? What is the purpose of getting a gun permit when Dunhams does a background check also? No doubt if the store had been busy, that hour and 33 minutes would have been much longer. Not sure what has happened to our second...

Went in to get softball pants. Stated all were on sale where I picked them up. Went to register did not ring up on sale. I asked girl I don't know ask another one I don't worl apparel. 1st one said I'll give you a 20% coupon. I said ok anx then she rang it up still did not get the discount. I did not buy them and stated they needed to get it fixed. Cashiers both of them were rude. One just wanted to leave as her shift was other. They stated they're working on getting it fixed. Wow when they don't work that area how is it getting fixed. Have done a lot of business there but NO more. I will go out of town and pay more before dealing with...

Sporting goods store in Scottsbluff, next to Hobby Lobby. Looks like we are buying a gun safe from them next week. We picked out a safe and they told us it went on sale the next day, $400 less on the preblack Friday sale. We went back to buy in on the 20th. During the sale. We were then told that it wasn't on sale then. It would only be on sale on black friday. They lied to us, and tried to manipulate us. We had a big snow storm on Thursday and Friday, so we couldn't go. I'm very unhappy with them for lying to us. We are now buying a better safe for the same price...
