Iāve been coming here for 11 years with nothing but positive experiencesāuntil now. From the very beginning, this visit was a letdown. I specifically booked a stylist I was referred to, yet I was given someone completely different. I clearly explained what I wanted, but instead of following my request, they started cutting away when there was supposed to be length left on top.
Throughout the entire service, there was no effort to build rapport. Instead, the conversation between coworkers was filled with complaints and gossip, which I believe involved the owner or manager. At no point did they check in with me for feedback on the progress. Even when a razor blade was pressed against my neck, they continued joking and laughing, which made the experience even more uncomfortable.
To make matters worse, with my back turned, I overheard them making fun of another clientāmocking his appearance, making gestures about his wealth, and discussing their tips for the week. That level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable.
If the haircut had turned out the way I wanted, I might have overlooked some of this. But given the lack of professionalism, class, and customer care, I wonāt be returning. Iād recommend finding a different location where clients are treated with respect and the experience...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI started going to The Boardroom because I followed Glen there, after randomly having him when he worked at a different salon.
He is the best haircut I've ever had, so it was an easy decision to follow him to his new salon. He was the first stylist, I've ever had, that took the time to be honest with me and explain how my hairline and thinning effected how my hair needed to be cut.
When I was going to other stylists they would cut my hair in a way that it always looked thin and like I was balding. Glen explained how he could fix this, and asked me to trust him over a couple haircuts in order to get it to where I wanted it. I'm really glad I trusted him because my hair looks significantly more full now and is still the hair style I want.
Since seeing what Glen did for my hair, I have recommended him to all my close guy friends. They have all been going to him for the last year now and are really happy, as well.
I highly recommend going to Glen if you want an honest and really great haircut!
P.S. If you have not tired the nose waxing, try it! I did it just because I was tired of the hair, but it actually helped my allergies a lot. I continue to do it for that reason...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreJust go somewhere else. First off, the parking lot is controlled by the restaurant next door. So there is no parking. None. Unless of course you use the restaurant valet. This was my first time coming here. Really cool inside. I was with Michelle. She was really nice. She should not be in a place like this. She did not know how to cut men's hair. She does not know how to use clippers, so the sides were...just so messed up. The top was also different lengths. Weird stuff like short in the front but sticking out on the sides. She was able to accentuate my bald spot like no one ever has. I knew it was bad and I think she knew it too. I got home and looked in the mirror and it was worse than I thought. I called and said I need an appointment with someone else. I was able to get one the next day. Glen was able to help me out and could see the issues with my new cut. While I do appreciate getting an appointment the next day this was a bad experience. It's basically Super Cuts with a pool table,...
