A nice railroad museum located in a park themed around trains. The gentleman at the entrance was nice and knowledgeable about the subject of trains, and there were some cool things to see. There are several items to look at in the old railroad station, where you start off. after that the museum continues on into a couple preserved passenger cars. The first of which I do believe was a mail car, and housed more memorabilia of the golden age of rail travel. The second car meanwhile, was once a president's car, and was in service to several U.S. presidents during the 1930's-60's!

Read moreWhile the actual museum room was closed for the summer, the gift shop and model train area along with the park history room was still open. The gift shop offers shirts and other train-themed accessories and that's where you buy the train tickets- $3 is a pretty good deal for their train rides. They also have the model train building which offered 3+ huge model train displays along with other interpretive signs and displays. Read moreI would give it 5 stars but there where 2 ladies at the front that where rude to my son with autism. They made rude comments and where uninviting on the way in because we where taking pictures of the big train outside near the exit. My son is obsessed with trains and was so excited that it was hard for him not to go and take a peek of the amazing train all lit up for christmas. Everything else was great and it's a very clean place made for train lovers. Just left a bad taste in my mouth with how we where greeted and the womans...
