I was so excited to learn that Khanh and Hannah had opened up their own nail salon! I was able to come out and visit and I'm so glad i did. I was able to make an appointment online easily and although it was a busy summer day, there were still a few parking spots in front of the salon.
They're tucked away near the waterfront on Lake Washington in Madrona Park, which supports the relaxing experience! The salon is beautifully decorated with separate spaces for manis & pedicures. I thought it was unique that once you come in, they have you put your name on a little kit of nail tech tools for their visitors they put aside for the next time you come in. I went with a gel pedicure and removal of gelx nails for a basic mani to give my nails a little break. I was so excited to see they had various options for manicures, such as dip nails and gelx (which i appreciate so much more than acrylic!and not all salons offer). Their menu for options in pedicures and drinks all look so good ! I went with the spritzer which was delicious. I cant wait to come out again soon ! Go out and visit them, they're lovely and will take good care of you...
ย ย ย Read moreWhat a pleasant experience. Pedicures are a rare luxury for me - the expense, the time - but if they were all like this, I'd go more often. This was relaxing, low-key, with periodic massages for the scrub and creams. Previous salons I've visited felt cold and industrial or overly floral. Here, the setup was comfortable, clean and simple, with slightly dimmed lights (good for relaxation, yet still strongly enough lit for me to read comfortably, and with gooseneck lamps for the stylist to do her work). I got the Dockside treatment with a finish cream & gel color. It was worth the upgrade for the moisturizing massage finish.
Hours later, my calves & feet still feel pleasant, my toes look cute, and I'm looking forward to wearing sandals.
Charming location too, right by Madison Park Beach. The nail bench even has a view out...

I wish I could comment on the nail services, but I never had the chance to experience them. My mother flew in for her birthday, and we decided to try this place for birthday pedicures. Once we arrived, the person at the counter had a very large dog out, and it was barking and aggressive. She was kind enough to kennel it so she could at least hear our request. Before I could even finish saying we liked pedicures, she said they are busy and can't service us. She never once looked at the schedule, never asked if another day would work or anything. Just saw our Black faces and said no. It's so sad to be treated this way by a fellow BIPOC person; to be treated with so little irreverance was disappointing.
You can find better...
