Neighborhood pub with good food and friendly servers. I come here every so often to watch a ballgame. Often enough that I've become a "Mug Club Member," which entitles me to a special mug, discount pours, and envious looks from second-class bar patrons. The food is usually good, but can vary in quality from night to night. It's a good place if you're social - You're guaranteed to strike up good conversation with the regulars. My only complaint is that it tends to clear out pretty early. Even on the weekends, if I arrive after 10pm its usually desolate. But that's more a Madison Park problem than a The Attic problem.

The attic has been around for 100years +. True Madison Park classic. They went through a couple renovations recently but the outcome was great. The version today is great and authentic. The food is great with big portions and the beer stays cold. You can watch multiple games at once on all the tvs(like 12). What more to say. It’s just a great place, from the staff to the food to the patrons. I’m happy to have such a great place in my neighborhood.

Usually visit The Attic for happy hour with its friendly service, delightful drinks, and tasty food. The salmon sandwich is delicious as is the chili. Decided to try brunch on Sunday morning. At the suggestion of our server Dusty we ordered the Crab Benedict. It was one of the best in the city. The hollandaise sauce was a thing of beauty, luscious yet light. Perfectly poached eggs and seasoned potatoes rounded out a great meal.

The Attic reopened in mid October 2021 under new management, and I was looking forward to returning to an favorite. Everything about it is just average. My decision was whether to give 2 or 3 stars. They have several Georgetown beers on draught, but the selection is pretty small. I love Georgetown Brewing, and I’m glad the Attic is supporting local independent craft, but the old Attic had more taps with more variety. The food was adequate but entirely unexceptional. The decor is rather plain, and there are (I think) 8 TV screens. Their Covid precautions are bad: I saw no notice of vaccination requirements, and they made no attempt to follow required procedures to check customers’ vaccination; numerous people (customers and staff) weren’t bothering to wear masks as they move around the bar and dining area; one customer was walking all around the dining area as she had a maskless conversation on her phone (which is annoying as hell pandemic or not, and the staff can do something about that). Maybe they’re still working out the kinks; I hope so and maybe I’ll go back...

I visited The Attic with a large group of friends early to watch one of the World Cup games. This place is perfect location is beautiful the street parking free for up to 4 hours, but be careful the rule changes depending on were you park for example the street in front of The Attic allows 1 hour parking across the street 2 hours so just make sure you know how long you have. The food was really good. 9 of us all ordered different things from the breakfast menu, and everyone was happy. Our server Cristian was a freaken Rockstar he was on top of everything, food, and drinks he was fast and so friendly. Exactly what you want when going to a bar. The bar was really clean they have like 10 huge screens, so you can watch literally from every seat in the place!! Loved it...

Kinda felt like a dive bar type of vibe. There was a cross section of different age groups sitting in booths, the tables, and the bar. It was pretty lively and the patrons were in good spirits. Maybe it was because we went around Christmas time or maybe because the jukebox had holiday songs on blast.

They had a nice selection of beers on tap, and lots of fancy glasses to go with the various libations. Can't speak for any of the cocktails but they definitely had a full bar.

Mainly we just had a few pitchers, and some food and then bounced to the next spot. The burger was good and the fries were crispy.

Oh and there's also free dart board in the back, with a chalkboard to keep track...
