As we were wrapping up our visit to Seattle, we decided to search out a new coffee shop and found Diva Espresso. It was a surreal day as there were fires in the area and two large fire trucks were parked in the middle of the road so they could dispatch quickly in case the fires got out of control. Interesting time to grab breakfast, but we did. The locals seem to dominate the morning crew but we felt very welcomed and the coffee/food was amazing. I love the outside patio area and on colder days, there is limited seating inside. I also loved the fridge that packs some premade products in case you just want something quick. Thankfully, the neighborhood survived the fires so don’t miss the opportunity to visit Diva Espresso. I’d say to mention my name while ordering but that won’t actually get you any perks. Such nice staff! It’s nicer starting your morning off with smiling faces and a delicious latte. The service was fast and they didn’t mind helping us with some questions that we had. I use 2% milk in my lattes and my daughter uses pacific barista soy milk in hers and they were able to help us out with both. We had Kristen again and she is incredibly welcoming. If I could create a Barista of the Year award it would hands down go to her. Yes she is friendly but can she multi task? Heck yes!

Update: Their new place is so cozy and modern with same quality. They have the mezzo! Lovely place, professional and friendly staff, great selection of bakery and hot food, easy street parking. Love the business in the neighborhood! They are moving to new places across the street in May 2025.

Just had a really good experience at 6:50 AM 8/30 where I got a cold brew that was sooo dark I thought there was chocolate in it. I get their cold brew consistently and it was not right. I HATE asking for a drink to be remade, but the barista there was so nice and told me it was likely due to my first drink being from the bottom of the last batch of cold brew, so it was just incredibly strong. She remade for free even as I was walking to the counter to purchase something else. All while she was very busy by herself. Really a nice way to start my Labor...

I love the new Diva location! It's much bigger and looks very comfy. I've never actually sat in there, just order coffee and run for it. They have a great menu. Some of the things, like the shakes, I've never tried. There seems to be a larger selection of food than the little place. All the baristas are friendly and high energy. If I had one wish, it would be a smaller size option for the cold brew. That stuff is just so potent for me. Not a deal breaker in any way, just an observation. Check Diva out if you...
