We just ordered a sectional from Couch on January 7, 2020. It's a very custom order and they were super helpful with working through options. Happy with that process. As we left the sales associate said the estimated time was end of February. We then called to check on progress. The sales person on the phone then said "We are in time for mid March." Lol with the on time comment, but ok still within the 2 1/2 month note on the signed purchase receipt. We just went in to the store on March 1st, and the next sales person says "We are on time for end of April." We pointed out that it is not on time and now the quote is outside the signed receipt estimate of 2 1/2 months. We made her then go through where all materials were sourced (local to the USA) to make sure shipments if materials were not impacting delivery. I'll update this post through receipt, so everyone can see how bad their time estimates end up being. We knew this could be an issue worth other people who wrote reviews. Hopeful that it will be a good quality sectional as noted by other reviews. I'll wite about that too as it comes in.
Update: I see the response below and agree that the store should have a chance to fulfill the contract. Quoted end of April would be outside that promise and verbal estimate was before the promise date. Still an honest account of what we experienced to date. Glad you are paying attention to our reviews as I see other experiences like ours. More as our order progresses to see if the estimates hold true to form. Right now 3 stars out of 5 which is neither negative nor positive as I noted good order experience but bad updates and estimates. Guess you can earn the other stars on delivery follow through.
Last update: Couch delivered on April 1st. Great construction and easy delivery arrangements. I even arranged to have them take away the old couch....
Read moreI don't write a lot of reviews, but I had to do one for Couch. My wife and I bought 2 sofas there. We were very happy with them. Down the road we had a problem with the springs. I suspect it had to do with the manufacturer they sourced from, but enough time had passed I was not really expecting a warranty. I emailed Couch to try and figure out a solution. Within a day I received a very nice reply that they would take care of it for us. Right after the Holidays they picked the couches up at my home, transported them back to the manufacturer who fully replaced the springs and then delivered them back in my home. I was amazed that anyone would stand behind their product like that. The other thing I thought was cool is that the person who helped us with the couch design originally, Allegra, is still with Couch. Great product, Great service, Very fair price. I would not buy a new sofa before talking to the people at...
Read moreIt's been nearly 3 years and I hate my Oslo sectional a little more every day. The lines are nice - it looks good. If this was a rarely used, mostly decorative sofa, I'd be thrilled. But it's not meeting the challenges of a hardcore family sofa.
The two end cushions immediately sink into the back corners when we sit, as if the frame is devouring them. I've resorted to cramming packing foam under the cushions in an attempt to shore them up. The cushions themselves bow and buckle.
The fabric, which the sales person assured me was pet durable, is already pilling so much that I use a sweater shaver on the cushions and arms.
I flip and rotate the cushions every freaking week in an attempt to make this sofa look newish, instead of like a hand me down from a neighbor who put it on Facebook for free.
I deeply regret not buying from...
