i have used this location several times for doctor's appointments and when my Aunt was at Harborview. This location is close to all of the downtown Seattle medical facilities. They have underground, self-parking available. It is pricey, but all parking is in the city. The garage was clean, it is gated and below the hotel with elevators at each level. The parking has never been sold out when I have been there. The rooms were recently renovated and look great! Each room that I have stayed in has had a mini-fridge. large screen TV, a table (can be used as a desk), a chair to be used at the table that has no arms making those with larger bums more comfortable. There is also a built in bench that can be used with the table. The table is moveable, but it is sturdy! There is an extra comfy chair (with arms) and a separate foot rest. The have great lighting features, plenty of plug-ins, and charging stations built in to the side tables. There is a small Keurig type device, a sink above the mini fridge with plenty of countertops and storage for clothes etc. There is a giant mirror above all of that as well. The water pressure in the shower is GREAT, and gets hot quickly. The fan works great :). I have stayed in two ADA rooms, and regular King size bedrooms. The ADA rooms were great rooms, allowed a good deal of room for my mobility scooter and they had benches in the showers for the ADA rooms. I was able to get my scooter into the regular King Size rooms, but it did block one size of the king size bed. Customer service was excellent!! I was able to call last minute when my aunt was taken to Harborview and they were able to help me. I also have limited mobility so they graciously brought my door dash to my rooms (every time!) to help me. My aunt was discharged from Harborview at Noon and I had reserved that same night. Customer service changed my reservation so that I did not have to pay that extra night when I got back to the hotel at 12:45 PM. They did NOT have to do that and I am so grateful that they did. They have room service via Jimmy's on Broadway-it is attached to the hotel so you can go the restaurant to eat. I chose room service for breakfast. It is a bit pricey and a 20% gratuity is included in the room service/food price. I highly recommend this hotel in particular. I have stayed at other Silver Cloud Hotels (specifically S. Lake Union, and Stadium) and they also have been fantastic. ps No pool or spa at...

When my wife and I first walked into the lobby we were surprised how clean everything was which then extended into every part of the hotel. The cleaning staff here is top notch. I saw other reviews commenting on how clean the hotel was but I didn’t think it would be that clean. The rooms were cozy and bed were so comfortable. Probably some of the best sleeps I’ve gotten (minus being awaken by some people arguing on the sidewalk outside at 2am on night). We got a room with a jacuzzi and it was very relaxing. Good way to end a day that was full of exploring. Another thing I’d like to mention while it wont apply to everyone it was a concern of mine while booking was the underground parking. We were travelling in a lowered corvette and I was worried the angle was going to be too steep for our car but had no issues with it. I saw some people complaining about the price of the underground parking ($50 a night) but I think it was worth it considering they patrol the parking every hour. Made me feel safe leaving my corvette there even though this is a little bit of a rougher area.
The location of the hotel was nice because it was close to everything and made driving or ubering places quick. But the area around the hotel was a little rough. When were first driving on broadway to get to the hotel it started out nice and as we got closer to the hotel it started to get rougher and rougher. Even had a Uber driver asked how we liked staying in Capitol Hill because it was sketchy. But once we got into the hotel it was fine. Everything was secure needed key cards to get in anywhere. Never felt worried once we were in the hotel or the parking garage. Just didn’t have a bunch of confidence walking around the area which made me sad because looked like there was a bunch of good restaurants in the area.
The staff were super nice and attentive. The lady that checked us in was very kind. Set our stay off on the right foot. After that only dealt with the staff two more times. Once was to get more towels (we stayed in the room to late one day and our room got missed for cleaning) and the other our elevator key got demagnetized. Both times the staff were friends and got us what we needed quickly. Gave us service with a smile.
Overall our stay at the silver cloud hotel on broadway way was excellent and if we ever come back to Seattle we would...
Read moreWe were very satisfied with our two stays at Silver Cloud Broadway (one for three nights, the second for a single night) during a recent six-day visit to the Pacific Northwest. Overall rating: 4.6/5.||The accommodations, if not distinctive or especially luxurious, were comfortable and served our purposes well. Our deluxe king room was spacious, with ample room for storage and ample electrical outlets. The beds were conducive to a good night’s sleep, as was the quiet room. Our rooms faced Madison St., which is likely quieter than Broadway, which features trolleys that clang twice, rather than the three times immortalized in song. The lack of a task chair in the room (there a small round table that could be used for dining or work, rather than a desk) was curious. And my spouse did not find any of the available seating offered good back support.||The staff was efficient, businesslike, and responsive to questions and requests. The hotel offers self-parking (with a price one would expect from a center-city location) in a tight garage.||The main virtue of this hotel, in our view, was its location. In prior visits to Seattle, we either stayed some distance from the center of town or in touristy areas. This property is in the Capitol Hill/First Hill area, an actual neighborhood with few other hotels. There are numerous good independent restaurants and coffeehouses (as well as the tourist-trap “roastery” operated by the locally-baed multinational behemoth) within easy walking distance. Downtown tourist attractions are also proximate for the dedicated walker; walking to the city center takes about 15 to 20 minutes. The return walk, which entails going uphill at often steep grades, is considerably more arduous. As we live in a area proximate to a large city center, we are well aware of both the advantages (seeing dogs being walked and diverse residents) and disadvantages (visible homelessness) of such ...
