Kitchen & Market is a delightful culinary gem located in the heart of Madison. They have other locations as well but have only been to this one so far. The store is very modern and very very clean which makes you want to go back just because of that. They offer restaurant-quality meal kits and a thoughtfully curated selection of groceries and pantry staples. Whether you’re a seasoned cook or a kitchen newbie, their offerings make dinner prep a breeze. I got the Apple galette and it was so simple. It was nice having all the ingredients prepared especially the crust. I’m a baker and I whipped this out in minutes! It was a rustic and easy-to-make dessert. SO expensive. I’ve been in three times now and every time I leave with only 1-2 items because I just can’t afford it. Sandwiches seem to be twice the price of what they should be. And somehow salads are even more than sandwiches -$16 for a salad?! It’s mostly lettuce! The bahn mi was ok but boy was the caprese sandwich disappointing. A good splurge, I think, if you can afford it. A few of the items I think are pretty overpriced, like s amall tub of cucumber for $7, but I did find all of the food that I purchsed quite good. I am going to try to get it to last for a couple of days.
