A lookout I've been going to my entire life having grown up in Madison Valley but I've forgotten about it up until recently when I took a detour to my parents house. It's a quiet little spot despite being right next to 2 schools and a busy street and besides all the pedestrians/dog walkers/runners/bikers that pass by, you seldom get disrupted when you're simply trying to enjoy the view. If it's your first time though, be aware that it's an odd place to park--I would recommend parking in front of Bush school and walking the 3-4 blocks over to the lookout. Also, side note; if you have some extra time, cross over the busy street to the super big park on the other side, especially if it's the fall time, you won't be disappointed by the amount of different leaf colors your eyes will get...

Part of the elaborate network of Olmsted parks in Seattle. But don't get fooled by the name - not many parts of this park still have lake views after the trees have grown out for a hundred years. Instead appreciate the relative seclusion of the hidden clearings and pathways that this park...

Very small park with a nice viewpoint where you can look out to Lake Washington and see Bellevue downtown and the Cascades across the lake. The road is a bit steep here and there is no pedestrian shoulder on Lake Washington Blvd E, there is instead a stair...
