Been to this place a few times since it opened up in the neighborhood.
First couple of times it was great. Outstanding selection and gelato was velvety - just what you want.
The last few times have been terrible to the point I’ve thrown them out. The gelato is icy and melty, which gives it an off-putting texture and freezer burn flavor. Judging by the freezers - it looks like they’re having a tough time keeping the gelato cold, which may explain the icy ness.
I also noticed that the server doesn’t always change the water when dunking the scooper. Not a big deal, but it some times inadvertently imparts stronger flavors (like mint from a previous customers scoop) on delicate ones like stracciatella.

   Read moreI made a visit during my lunch break, upon entering a staff came out from the backroom after 10 seconds or so. Samples were allowed. I chose the espresso since it is rich in flavor. The stracciatella was yummy too but didn't get it since the batch didn't felt as firm ( liquidy).
The place was clean and worth future visits.
Despite the doors being opened, it was really warm around 1pm. There is outdoor seating but due to construction, it is noisy and dusty outside. Inside there were 4 tables so not the place for a large group to sit down.
Through no fault of the business, the construction around the area even makes walking difficult ( have to keep crossing different crosswalks/ detours/). No parking lot in the area, limited street parking as it is a residential...
