Internet connection is mostly stable but very slow and often with poor ping in the evenings when everyone is trying to stream. Food is meh but cheap. Dorms and furniture have been mostly cared for by residents but are showing signs of age. Even the large rooms feel cramped, and the proximity to campus buildings isn't anything special, feels about as far from the HUB as West Campus dorms, while feeling like you're living in a very technologically advanced version of the 60s. Read moreStayed with a friend here and had a blast. The eco-brutalism architecture is quite the sight when you first walk up to the dorms. Crossing over the concrete bridge is very cool since you are elevated above the sloping hill covered in ivy and under the canopy of trees. To me this is the main reason the dorms where so extravagant. The ties between nature and industrialism really resonated with me staying at these dorms. It is a sad news, cause the reason why I move in McMahon is because of its restaurant is down stairs. Now it sucks, you have to go to Willow to eat and pick up ur package.
