Ahhhhh memories! As a college student I would go to the HUB for a Husky Burger. The sandwich was pretty basic with a meat patty, ketchup, mustard, cheese and pickles. I don’t remember any vegetables. It was wrapped in a foil-pouch with the Husky logo stamped on the outside. They were often pre-made and placed under a heat lamp. For a college distance runner this was perfect! On the most recent visit, I stopped by the HUB for lunch after a hike and had the current version of the Husky Burger the Classic Dub. I chose a plant based patty and cheese. II came with vegetables and I added condiments. I also ordered a side of fries. Both were great! I sat in the HUB eating my burger remembering days gone by.

Selection & quality is getting worse, portions smaller (fries barely covered the bottom of the container), and prices higher. I guess that's all you can expect from HFS.

Just a little bookstore, a couple of cafes, and a few shops. Not really a tourist spot.

I have visited many universities as part of my work and have sampled the food offerings of more universities than the average person. Overall, I would say that the Husky Den is not bad! In terms of taste, the food is quite palpable. However, there are not very many health-conscious options. Thankfully, I have no dietary restrictions but I observed that there is not a good selection for those who do. The atmosphere is pleasantly bustling. Some universities place oversized bean bag chairs and plants to create a more inviting atmosphere. This is something the UW should...

I usually go to the buritto place called "cantina" where they have quite nice portions, unfortunatelly the servers seem lazy, take so long to make a bowl or burito, and do not seem that they care about the people they are serving. I think I am quite patient person, but even other people were visibly upset how one of the servers Kristina was not caring and slowing the whole process. Apart from that, the food is a good...
