Ahhhhh memories! As a college student I would go to the HUB for a Husky Burger. The sandwich was pretty basic with a meat patty, ketchup, mustard, cheese and pickles. I don’t remember any vegetables. It was wrapped in a foil-pouch with the Husky logo stamped on the outside. They were often pre-made and placed under a heat lamp. For a college distance runner this was perfect! On the most recent visit, I stopped by the HUB for lunch after a hike and had the current version of the Husky Burger the Classic Dub. I chose a plant based patty and cheese. Read moreI have visited many universities as part of my work and have sampled the food offerings of more universities than the average person. Overall, I would say that the Husky Den is not bad! In terms of taste, the food is quite palpable. However, there are not very many health-conscious options. Thankfully, I have no dietary restrictions but I observed that there is not a good selection for those who do. The atmosphere is pleasantly bustling.
