University of Washington Golf Range — Local services in Seattle

They could use more new mats and what used to be a fantastic practice green has been closed for two years. That said, at just $7.50, you can use an entire bucket on wedge shots, or whatever part of your game needs work. If you want to pay triple for clean balls and add on top tracer, this isn’t the place. But if you want to work on your game inexpensively, it serves the purpose well. Also, it is one of the only UW student amenities the public can use. Just wanted to leave a quick review for public, non-UW folks. Cost to park for an hour is $5. Bucket of large balls (80 or so) is $9 and the balls are extremely old and dirty. Heater didn't work in my bay. Good selection of flags to hit at with clearly marked distances, which was nice.

Overall I think id rather get a $15 large at a city facility which has exceptional facilities VS paying $14 after parking to hit at this range. I'm sure it's a great deal with uw employees and students but for general public Id...

Because other reviewers have noted issues with this place, I wanted to share my experience. Parking is relatively expensive. The cost is at least as high as other similar driving ranges, if not more. The chipping green is non-functional, the putting green has been under repair for two years, the balls are dirty, and the hours are not great. There are no amenities to speak of. Unless you are truly desperate or live very close, I cannot recommend this place. It has no charm and is average at best in...
