Lovely views and a nice spot. Unfortunately I experienced the local hospitality as several others on here did as well. I was at the park before 1130 close but after dark. I returned to my car and read for an hour or so, and an older man from one of the nice houses across from the park came out and started berating me, stating he had already called the cops. I tried to explain myself and state it was a public street but he just yelled explitives back at me. Perhaps it seems unfair to give the park a lower rating due to one person's actions, but parks are supposed to be public spaces that are for anyone as long as they are respectful to the space. I consciously kept quiet while there and did nothing but relax and read in my car. This fellow is apparently trying to make this his own private reserve that the city pays to maintain. It's counter to the spirit of public parks and insulting he not even attempt to speak to people with any civility. Again, maybe it's not totally fair to mark down a park because of a nearby resident's action, but he makes this otherwise lovely little spot...
