Update June 2025….Still a place that you get no or dreadful customer service. They make you feel guilty for even coming in. No one ever greets you or welcomes you. Mediocre selection. No gift bags. Having to go to Target now.

This place continually disappoints and I’m done wasting my time coming here hoping to find a decent card. Nothing intelligent, clever or witty in their selection. And today half the stock was empty with no decent explanation from the clerk as to when things would be restocked. Every time I try giving this place yet another chance, I always have to go to Bartell’s at U Villlage which carries a much better selection of the same line of cards Red Balloon stocks. I found the price sheet confusing. I bought 7 balloons which I thought would fall under the 6- 24 category at 2.25 a piece.

Apparently the balloons will not float for more than 24 hours without the special helium for an extra 50 cents per balloon. I bought them at 1pm and needed them next morning at 930am and was advise to pay extra.

balloon price 72.25 = 15.75 helium 73.50 = 3.50 total should be 19.25 before taxes

To get to $21 , it is like taxes first 5* 2.50 = 12.50 next 2 *2.25 = 5 helium = 3.50

The person gave me an extra balloon, nice gesture but due to confusing pricing will not be back. I am little sad was planning to use them for upcoming events.

This store should get 5 stars with all the incredible toy and balloon selection it carries. I trekked across town in the rain to ask about getting a "gender reveal" balloon here, like many party companies do. The gentleman who worked there told me "No, we don't do that, but if you bring your own balloon and confetti in, we can fill it up for you!". He then confirmed that yes, they do sell pink and blue confetti, and the appropriate balloons, but "don't fill the confetti for our customers since it's time consuming. But if you fill it up with the confetti yourself, we can fill the balloon with the helium...". Sorry, but I think you've missed the whole point on what a gender reveal is.
