First time trying El Farol and everything was delicious! The portions are pretty huge and each meal here ended up being two meals. They also gave us a bag of tortilla chips and a cup of salsa. Enchiladas: 5/5 The enchilada sauce was delicious and not too tomato-y. The veggies on top were fresh and crispy, which went well with the soft saucy enchiladas. Burrito: 5/5 I really appreciated that the veggies inside weren't overcooked or mushy at all. The squash, zucchini, mushrooms were all perfectly cooked and I loved the addition of the caramelized onions on the side. Both were delicious and filling - will definitely be back!

After some time remincing about my experience, I can safely say that I enjoy Taco Bell more than El Farol. Not only is the food mediocre, the prices are absurd. A sad crunchy taco with iceburg lettece and cheese, overly simplistic quesadilla(topped with browning guac), and house margarita(not made fresh) is far from what I wanted. For 32 bucks with a tip, I expected more. I will not be returning and advise the owners to return to the basics of what makes a GOOD taco. DO NOT USE A CRUNCHY SHELL! :(

Ordered dinner through DoorDash. Paid over $50 with taxes, fees, tip etc. This 'chimichanga' had instructions to have extra cheese. The fake cheese wasn't even extra. About 2 tbs of beans. Wrapped and then burnt! The enchiladas that were also ordered came cold, covered in fake cheese and bland! If I could give this place negative stars I would! If this is the quality they produce, I don't know how they're still in business and able to charge $12.50 for some beans, a tortilla and fake a** cheese!

I had the pleasure of visiting this Mexican restaurant for lunch, and it was fantastic! The food was delicious, full of authentic flavors, and the portions were generous. From the freshly made guacamole to the rich, flavorful tacos, every bite was a delight. The menu offers a great variety of traditional dishes, making it easy to find something for everyone.

What really stood out was the service. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and made sure that our dining experience was smooth and enjoyable. They were quick to offer recommendations and checked in frequently without being intrusive. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, perfect for a casual lunch or even a special occasion.

If you're looking for great Mexican food paired with excellent service, this place is...

I love El Farol. My friend Thundercloud has been going there for decades, and turned me onto this tiny but cure restaurant a few months ago.

They're such an awesome little eatery that you almost wouldn't know was there unless someone took you there or pointed it out. Its survived the ups and downs of Seattle economy for years, and is still thriving and providing wonderful service, delicious hispanic fare, and showing off a wonderful set of authentic Mexican art work, some of which I've been told depicts the time and character of Don Kehote(sp?), which just makes the experience delicious.

My favorite time to go there is either mid morning or mid afternoon,...
