I called and asked for an estimate over the phone. They gave me a rough idea and confirmed the estimate once I sent pictures. The price I was quoted was the price due at the end. When I arrived I had trouble figuring out parking (I’m not from Seattle) and Ava the front desk worker provided instruction over the phone and then stood and held a spot in front of the salon for me. It’s no wonder is the greeting face, they’re amazing. My original booking was with another stylist but after they viewed the photos they called and suggested a different stylist they felt could do a better job. I appreciated the honesty. My appointment then was with Kendyle. She greeted me, answered all my questions thoroughly, we went through my expectations and what to expect, and past hair history. I appreciated being on the same page at the start. She was kind, knowledgeable, and thorough. Even with the haircut she asked before she cut she wasn’t scissor happy. I knew how much was to be cut before she did it so there was no surprises. While getting my hair done I talked with some of the other stylists as well. EVERYONE was so kind, friendly, and overall lovely. Everyone took safety protocols serious. Everyone wore their mask properly, sanitized often, and cleaned their area between clients. The day after my appointment I had some additional questions, Kendyle personally called and answered everything. Also, they don’t try and convince you to buy their products or try to up-sale you. I can’t say enough good things about this place. I will continue to drive the 2 and a half hours away to come here. HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend any of the stylists. They all care about...

I was greeted by the salon staff, very friendly, taken to the back room where they wax. The esthetician was friendly and personable. She asked what I usually have done: just cleaning up the edges. This is where things go awry. She did not cleanse the area, and went immediately in with wax. She was quick, and efficient, but halfway through, I realized she was applying a lot of wax to a lot of my eyelid. (My eyebrows are not that bushy) I remained calm thinking, she'll clean it up at the end. She seemed disorganized, having to search for scissors, and dig around for tweezers. Why aren't these ready to go for each client? -Didn't scream professionalism. She used exclusively wax to shape my brows; I had to ask her to tweeze a few hairs here and there. This is my biggest gripe, at the end of my appointment, I had to ask her to remove all of the excess wax on my skin, and there was a considerable amount in my eye crease- meant my eyelid stuck together. The method of removal was aloe via cotton. This meant that cotton got stuck all over my face, tickling my nose, eyelashes, etc. Even after that last final cleanse, I still had wax in my eye creases and I had to go home and scrub it off with a facial moisturizer. In addition to this, apparently she went in roughly on one of my eyes, because now it looks like some of my skin was removed from one of my eyebrows.

Read moreWorst salon experiences of my life. The eyebrow wax: they did it hastily in the dark for some reason so my eyebrows were crooked. Burned my eyelids so badly that a year later my eyelids are still asymmetrical. I thought I was having an allergic reaction because I've never been burned by wax before so I didnt treat it properly. I was at the salon the next day and noone told me to use burn cream which could have helped against scarring, I guess their priority was to protect the stylist who burned me. The color: I asked if she could change my ombre to all-over blonde. I wish she had been honest about her abilities instead of charging me so much money for the worst color job of my life. It came out a horrible neon yellow, with blue-white roots, and dull brassy ends. I mean really terrible!! I even pointed out to her that the color was not the same and she told me no, that it was the lighting. They could have had a great-tipping loyal customer if they had done it right or at least tried to fix...
