I had been meaning to check this place out for years now, and finally got the opportunity to last week. I was not disappointed! As a backpack hobbyist, it was an incredibly cool experience walking into this factory/showroom and seeing how these packs are manufactured and assembled. Everyone was hard at work putting together these quality, made in USA backpacks, and seeing it up close and personal was great!

The people I worked with were extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful! They went through their products, materials, features, etc., and helped me find a backpack that I am very happy with so far! You can tell the people here have a passion for what they do - it shows in their work and attitudes.

Speaking of customer service - I left my water bottle there, and they offered to ship it back to me! This is an example of the type of service and customer loyalty you are paying for when you buy one of these bags.

Extremely helpful staff. Initially I went with a backpack that I didn't end up liking as much as I thought. I took it back a couple days later after removing the tags and they refunded me without any questions asked. Went with a Synapse 25 and it's by far the best bag I've ever owned, I expect it to last for decades. Absolutely worth the price when you factor in longevity. They're very helpful online but if you're in Seattle, this shop is more than worth a drop-in so you can try out the bags yourself!

Edit: Thought I'd update this review ~5 years later. This backpack is still my primary backpack. There is no fraying and it still looks brand new. At one point, the plastic T-bar used for the internal frame broke. I sent an email to customer support and they mailed me a new one free of charge the same day. I've taken this backpack around the world, in pouring rain, on day hikes up mountains, you name it. It's still going strong and at this rate, I'm not sure if I will outlive it!...
