I have loved my Urban Hardwoods dining table and coffee table since 2006, back when you could walk around the warehouse and choose from piles of wood and work directly with the original owner Jim and his skilled woodworkers. I've admired all their work and evolving styles over the years and have been happy to see their growth in design and business.

The staff (showroom and woodworkers) have always been an absolute pleasure to work with. When Urban Hardwoods first began - literally harvesting wood from the urban landscape to create beautiful works we could enjoy locally or wherever we moved to - the philosophy and design style were unique. Since then, there are many other companies doing a similar thing. So, through all these changes in the business environment, I am MOST pleased that the entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to craft and excellent service and relationships of this local Brand continues just as when Jim started his business.

After seeing a friend's table while visiting Seattle, we went to Urban Hardwoods to look at dining room tables and found a beautiful piece that was in production as a floor sample. We were told that it was available for sale, so we jumped on it! The table arrived just a few weeks ago and we are simply thrilled with the way it turned out.
