I’ve never been to a starbucks with such poor communication and consideration for their customers especially being the only local Starbucks in the area. There are two things people really want from a business in this day and age: convenience and consistency. On more than one occasion I’ve tried to order ahead on the app only to find that this location isn’t open, isn’t taking mobile orders or only their drive thru was open. This last time, they had signs up with alternate “temporary” in-store hours and a sign that said the drive-thru was open with several cars continuing to line up at the window. Can you believe it?! No one was in the store; No one was in the drive-thru; No one left a note on the door or the intercom to communicate this disappearance of whatever employee was supposed to be working; No message appears on the app; nothing. Communication is absolutely inaccurate and incomplete. As for as convenience goes, you have all of the people who stop by during these inaccurate closed hours that represent missed business and profits this store experiences on a constant basis. Lines and lines of disappointed customers - I even heard the woman in front of me yelling at the drive-thru “HELLOOOOO?! Is anybody there?!” and then honking her horn at the pickup window. It’s unprofessional and erratic behavior from a business. Sure you can attempt to blame these “temporary” hours and closings on coronavirus, except I haven’t seen any other Starbucks store between Lakeland, Bartow, Winter Haven, Orlando and Tampa have anything even close to this issue. This store could at least contribute their extra peppermint syrup to the stores that ARE open and running successfully through a pandemic. Now... all that being said, I’m going to be just fine if I don’t get my Starbucks coffee, but holy cow... are you seriously trying to run a business? If you are, you’re running a successful franchise RIGHT INTO THE GROUND. This store needs...

When visiting this location, my preference is to go inside. If I have my seven-year old daughter with me, we will usually play Scrabble for a few minutes at the "game table" near the store entrance.
This Starbucks is clean, has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and very friendly staff. The barista's typically comment that they see me checking in on Facebook with my signature drink -a "Bill's Morning Start" - a six-shot Venti, four-pump Vanilla, one-pump Mocha, extra-fat, extra-hot, upside down latte.
They also comment on my Starbucks "steel card" as I am apparently only one of two customers that have used one at this store.
Overall decent experience.

Read moreI don't give it one star less because there isn't one. This is the worst store Starbucks has. This message is addressed to the manager and the owner. We are Starbucks customers for 12 years. It is the second time we come to this and the same thing happens. First they overcharged the coffee. The girl didn't make the coffee the way it is and she called Mr. He wants you to drink the coffee the way you want. In the first place, the clients are us who pay (very expensive) secondly, the salary of each one who works there, comes out of the client's pocket. I recommend the owner to be more aware of his business, because if he continues like this, at any moment he will have to close since he is losing customers due to the attitude of his employees. Not everyone is capable of working...
