Me and my husband did not know they offered a military discount of 15% off each item with the coupon included and we spent quite a bit of money for our Christmas decor .. long story short one of the cashiers who has been the for 12 years took the time to hand type in each item for a return and then put it all back in to give my husband the respect of his military discount. I just want to thank her so very much for the time she took to acknowledge our military veterans ..she was absolutely pleasant the entire way and also had me smiling I also want to thank the young lady who helped her ring it all back in and offered me to have it refunded on the gift card instead of waiting days on days for the bank you ladies are a treasure to Michaels craft store . The girls working were amazing to work with! Super friendly and made our shopping experience a pleasure. We drove from lake wales (45ish minutes) because I wanted a new Christmas tree and they were running a sale 50% off! The one I wanted was in stock. Took my dad who also wanted a new tree. They had the one I wanted in stock. Great! Didn't have the one my dad wanted in stock tho. The one girl called her store manager to ask if they could sell him the display model! SM said sure! And they took down the display and boxed it up in the original box! They were friendly! Made conversation the whole time and were smiling the whole time. Michals at Shelby Crossing is out of my way by quite a distance now, but when I am back down in Sebring I do like to stop in! They have excellent sales on yarn almost anytime you stop in. Mark-downs on holiday items that would make your head spin. I got all of my Spooktacular stuff for less than 20$ and it almost felt like a steal. The yarn came to more, but only because I needed quite a bit for a larger project (that's another subject, lol). If you've got a few extra bucks not marked for the kids or bills, and some extra time to peruse the holiday section or whatever catches your eye.
